Yak and Yeti is one of the best Indian food restaurants on Maui, and my wife's favorite restaurant on the island. Wonderful service, delicious food, & the sunset views are beyond. My party of four ordered the chicken momos which were excellent and definitely homemade (we can tell bc we’re Asian). Also had the samosa chat, garlic naan, lamb and chicken vindaloos, chicken tandoori, and butter chicken. I ordered take-out. I have lived in Pakistan and India. I was craving curry. It was $20 for a 16oz bowl. The chicken curry was very disappointing! The curry sauce was like a yellow broth. I thought the sauce should be thick and it should taste like curry ! Instead I felt I had a few pieces of chicken in dishwater. Never eating their food again.
