“A bit noisy because of the wooden floors and active bar making blended drinks. But the service and locally sourced food is superb. There are other table locations within the restaurant that are probably quieter than the one we chose right up front at the windows.”

I'd say it's worth a special trip, but if you're going to Haleakala, definitely plan on "fueling up" on food before going to the top.The service and food were so good we stopped two days in a row on our last trip. If you liked Prison Street Pizza in Lahaina (pre-fire), then you'll enjoy this place too. (Same owners I think.)”

“So glad we did a lot stop at Road Dogs! Great shaved ice and hot dogs. You know being a Chicagoan we pride ourselves on the Chicago dogs and the Road Dogs Chicago Dog didn't disappoint. They had all the right toppings and tasted great. I'd give it a stamp of approval. You can't go to Hawaii without getting shaved ice and out of the 10 different shaved ices we ordered, everyone loved the flavors we ordered. Definitely stop by and order something at Road Dogs!”

“Very cozy casual outdoor cafe tucked away between artsy shops. It was a very busy day and only one waitress running the show. She was wonderful and kind, but my order wasn’t correct and I received a turkey sandwich instead of a chicken sandwich on focaccia which I think would have been a better choice. Can’t complain. The price was right.”

“I appreciated they had veggie options!My husband enjoyed his California roll and something else.My rolls did fall apart a bit when I tried picking them up but all was well.It was option to choose in the limited food truck area.Price was a bit up there but it's sushi in Hawaii.Employees were friendly and welcoming.”

“We got there at 5p and it opens at 430p. Not busy at all perfect time. Place gets really busy and by 6p it was crowded. We ordered appetizers, Tako Maki one of the specials of the evening...very delicious,...shrimp and veggie tempura....tasty, and the Spicy Hamach roll....it was good, although not spicy at all. Nice amount of food for a light satisfying meal for two. As the restaurant got busier, it was harder to get the attention of our server. “The food is okay, although they do have some exceptional ones that are really great. I really enjoyed the hamburger steak/ chicken cutlet combo plate.Parking: The location I went to is in Pukalani, and the parking lot at this strip mall is extremely tight. It's not uncommon for people to not park within the painted stalls. It's just accepted at that particular parking lot due to the extremely tight spacing. Everyone just understands it's necessary.”

“Very friendly Mexican pub with good food, super nice service, and it was well attended, which I generally think is a good sign. We really enjoyed it after returning from the Halekala crater and of course it tasted very good too. Gladly again!”
