“I've been wanting to try this place for over a long time now and FINALLY got a chance a chance to go!! Luckily it was early on a Wednesday night and we were able to walk in without reservations. But with only two guys working they limited the seating. Located in the a tiny intimate space with a bar and some tables I heard that the best seats are at the bar with front row seats so you can see the bartenders do their thing. We were seated on a table where we couldn't see but it's ok because we were engaged in conversation all night. Love that we all got different things and got to try each other's drinks. Everything was crafted with excellent care and beautifully and articulately presented with a short narrative about each drink. The starred ones were my faves. Round 1: ***E ho'o pau mai tai-12 year rum, spices: orgeat, fig lime, absinthe, keawe wood smoke. My friend said this was the world's best mai tai. I always wonder how anyone can make that claim unless they have literally travelled the world and tasted every maitai. They might not be wrong though, because this award winning drink was one of the best maitais I've ever had!!! Not too sweet, much more complex than your typical beach drink, and full of wonderful flavors! Masterfully made! **Kisetsu Sour/ lilikoi - changes seasonally - Nikka Coffey gin, mason pepper, yuzu, bergamot, lilikoi, lemon, tonic . This drink changes with the "seasons". Beautiful, refreshing and too easy to drink! Espresso martini- haku vodka, pandan, cynar, sesame, cold brew, whole egg. They smoke the espresso beans in front of you. My friend liked his drink more than I did. Round 2: Red Shiso smash- (not on the menu)-Toki, red shiso, lemon, yuzu, wasabon sugar, soda. Good but not my favorite. ***El Umami- tequila, mezcal, bergamot, strawberry, tomato, bergamot- lovely in looks and taste! A little sweet, a little smoky. Roma Norte- mezcal, chile verde, grapefruit, honey, black pepper, frozen apple. Super cool presentation. Good if you like smoky. ***Smoked salmon- bourbon smoked salmon, wasabi, dill oil, smoked trout roe. Soooo good! Great for sharing. Excellent servers knew we'd need more bread. Complimentary: Rice ball snacks Dessert: Ganache with yuzu- a perfect ending! Service by the guy in the leather apron and hat (sorry didn't catch his name ) was top notch. We were very well attended to. Love that they fill chilled water without having to be asked through the evening. I can see why people love this place and why it's James Beard worthy! Drinks nowadays are pricey everywhere. Theirs come with creativity, care, craftsmanship and class which give them more value than those at most other bars.”

“Stopped by this British-influenced bar and restaurant upon a recommendation on my last night in Honolulu. The service was a bit cold but the drinks definitely delivered. The cheeseboard-inspired blue cheese washed cocktail was unlike anything I’ve had with a deep savouriness balanced by the pleasant tart-sweetness of pickled grapes. It’s a showstopper. I also loved the alcoholic tepache, which is pleasantly fermented and not too sweet. Didn’t try any food but it sounded good too.”

“I went to a juice shop that I was interested in after hearing about it from a friend♪A juice shop...or rather a fruit shop? ?In addition to fruits, there are bottles like grandma's pickled plum juice, as well as all sorts of mysterious dried fruits, but juice seems to be overwhelmingly popular.The inside of the store isn't very large, but there are several people in line, and while you're in line, the person in front of you will give you a sample of the leftover drink you ordered in a small cup ❤︎They let me try it three times before it was my turn (lol)I ordered Power Green and my friend ordered Ginger Lemon Honey & Mint.When I asked about the difference, I was told that Power Green has the sweetness of mango and pineapple, while Ginger Lemon has the sweetness of honey.As a result, I liked the Ginger Lemon that my friend ordered, and she liked my Power Green?Both of these two have quite a Ginger effect.I'm a big fan of Ginger, so I'm happy about it, but my friend found it a little too strong.You can also adjust the amount of ginger when ordering.It looks like there are many other flavors to enjoy, so I'd like to come back a few times and try other juices ❤︎...While I say that, I always end up ordering only the things I like...?There are two sizes: small ($7) and large ($10), and the small one has plenty of volume, but if you bring a large jar , you'll get a $3 discount, making it the same price as the large one! !Next time I’m very excited to buy a jar ✨And when it comes to paying, it's better to pay in cash??Card fees will be charged for card payments.The staff are very nice and it's close to my home, so I think this will be my favorite.”

“What a great find!! Ended up using Yelp to find a breakfast spot close to the beach we were exploring and SO GRATEFUL we found Over Easy!! The food was amazing..My wife had a strawberry biscuit special which she loved..I went basic with pancakes & bacon but there was nothing basic about the food..The pancakes were HUGE but so delicious..And I'm a huge fan of crispy well-done bacon and the chef delivered as requested..You have to check this quaint family-feel location - you won't be disappointed”

“This is a place that you need to plan accordingly the wait for our order was 50 minutes and they have no seating so we called ahead and planned a beach day where we could enjoy our lunch. On the website they do caution you that it’s not fast food and normally takes 40-50 minutes so don’t expect great food to be ready in 5 minutes. It’s definitely worth the wait since everything we ordered was excellent! I can’t imagine how good it would be if we ate it after being freshly made.They make their noodles so everything is cooked fresh and made to order. You can even see the noodles being made in the shop. We ordered the Garlic Ulu Portabello, Lechon Malunggay, Adobong Lechon Kawali and then made our own pasta where you pick the noodles, sauce and protein. Servings size are huge so we all shared and got to try a lot of food. My fav was definitely the Lechon Malunggay. Lechon was so crispy and the noodles so tasty. But everything was sooo deliciousThe lady at the counter was so friendly.”

“This was my first time here. The service was phenomenal. None of the drinks seemed appealing but all looked tasty. The ahi cigar and the mushroom and cheese tart were a must try. Worth every bite. And unfortunately that is where it ends for me. I shared the beef cheeks and pureed potatoes. They were underwhelming. I unfortunately don't see a need to return. I don't think the flavors and the dining experience is wort the price paid”

“Love this place, I'm not even gluten free or vegetarian but their baked goods are delicious regardless. From experience, it's rare that I come across a tasty gluten free treat or even bread but they have mastered it somehow. I would recommend the cinnamon roll with the icing(also vegetarian). Also, they're strictly gluten free so no worries with cross contamination or whatever. Expensive though. But hey it's Hawaii, but still no excuse.”

“If you came here for food, you are in the wrong place. This is a coffee lovers stop, you can have any of their beans in drip, this is a spot to simply enjoy your coffee. I had the pleasure to sip on the Ka'u roast, it has a wonderful flavor and they serve it to you in a pot with small cup which made me appreciate the flavors even more.”

“My husband loves their shrimp and grits. We had breakfast there once and returned for dinner. Food is good. I believe the husband is running the establishment with his wife and when we had dinner, their young kids were there too. Daddy was doing the cooking while mommy was mining the customers and they both the children. This made my heart smile. Trying to run a business with young kids, not easy. Family core, much respect.”

“Blondie's is the best vegan restaurant on island in my opinion. It's the most similar to vegan comfort food that can be found in places like Portland and is really unlike any other food available on O'ahu. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is always top notch (Cybil is the absolute sweetest!). The restaurant is run by a mother-daughter duo and my heart is warmed every time I think of this. Even my non-vegan friends and family enjoy the food! Blondie's also happens to make my favorite smoothie of all time—the pipeline paradise. I have something of a smoothie obsession and I literally dream of this smoothie constantly. Highly recommend giving Blondie's a try!”

“Came here for lunch on a weekday. It was bustling but efficient.I got the club sandwich and I have to say, pretty damned tasty!! I love a good club sandwich. This had fresh tomatoes, fresh soft avocado, nice meats, and the bacon was perfect with just the right amount of crunch.The bagel it came on was delicious as well. It came with a tiny salad which had very fresh greens.I'd come back here in an instant! The place is kept spotless and service was friendly and professional.”

“This is the cutest local coffee shop I've been to. We went to Ctown on Easter for supplies and stopped by this cute coffee shop for some caffeine. The mr said he sometimes comes here to work while having his coffee. I ordered a cold americano and w oatmilk and it did not disappoint. If I am in the area I will definitely return. I just wished they had one in Manoa. Hint hint. Support local.”

“My husband and myself loved it so much we came back 3x over during our week stay on Oahu.The first day we tried the poke platter and honestly they were all so great but the winner for us was the wasabi furikake AND my husband HATES wasabi.The sushi rice is magical and all the toppings are a must. This will forever be a staple stop for us during our yearly trips. You can luck up with street parking but mostly we parked across the street at Safeway and ran across.”
