I went to the drive thru at 940pm. I asked for a 3 piece mild, and all they had to offer were 2 wings and a leg. I then switched to chicken strips, and I had to wait till they could verify they had enough. Once that wad complete, I asked for a side of Mac and Cheese to which they were out of it. An absolutely horrible experience. While waiting as I could not exit with cars in front and behind me, I watched as the car 2 ahead of me, returned their order to the cashier and left. Terrible!

All the popeyes on Island have great service, but Pearl City location is just AWESOME all around. The workers are friendly, service is always 100%, the dinning area is always clean food is always hot, food packing is neat and wait times are not even a wait at all. Someone always greets you when you enter, rather it be the cashier, the cook, or a worker on their lunch. One person in particular that stands out is a super friendly kind lady. Her name is Karen. Every single time and I mean every single time because I visit the Pearl City location a lot she is always smiling and in a great mood. Always multitasking and getting orders out proficiently. My kid will ONLY eat Popeyes chicken and with the excellent service they have its actually a treat to visit them. PC POPEYES YALL ROCK!!

We dined in since we were there to purchase the frozen Cajun turkey. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was good and the fries were good. The tiny pouch of fries that were only half full. There were maybe only (15) pieces of fries. The beverage machine had no ice. The sprite was only carbonated water. What's happening to the place? It's NOT a difficult restaurant to manage. I noticed about (6) workers and one was having her Popeyes lunch by me. Sorry, but I better stop my comments.

Cyndy's Bottom Line: A ok Spicy TRUFF chicken sandwichThe Popeyes' Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich takes the original chicken sandwich and adds the Spicy TRUFF Mayo. The sauce is creamy with a slight spicy flavor from red jalapeños and earthiness from the black winter truffles. Who doesn't like truffles...but I could barely taste it. Great flavor profiles on a soft brioche type of bun. The sandwich would have been better if it was made fresh instead of sitting around under the warmer. The chicken was tender but not really crispy on the outside . The pickles are yummy but I wish there were more. Marketing of this sandwich won over my tastebuds.
