I like Merlina's they have the best in my opinion Lechon & other dishes prices so far are very reasonable for me anyway. I love the wild bittermelon dish the make but it's not often available. You just have to try it.
Hole in the wall Filipino restaurant in Whitmore Village. Aesthetically it's not the cutest place but that's how you know there's gonna be some good, authentic, homemade food in there.First time here even though I'm a Wahiawa native. They sell ala cart, by the plate, and platters. It looks like lots of people ordered ahead for platters which I will also do myself the next time. Its a no frills kinda of place but the people were nice and the food was good. Seemed to be take-out only, I got the two portion meal for under $12. Plenty of food I was able to eat for Lunch and Dinner.
