“Love coming here whenever I come to Oahu! The plates are always delicious and are always reasonably priced. I always get the Furikake Ahi. My bf got the teriyaki chicken and really enjoyed it.”
“Awesome beach on the windward side. There's a military checkpoint at the entrance, so it's only accessible if you have military ID. Because of this, it won't get too crowded and not so much riff-raff.Secure area with a large, shaded pavilion and lots of tables. Full bathrooms (not nasty porta potties) and outside showers. Definitely family friendly. Waves on this side of the island are pretty mild to moderate later in the year. Soft sand, warm, blue water, and the occasional jellyfish. Watch out. So darn good, though. Top 3 beach on this island for me.”
“Good music. Decent prices. Food is good great pupus bartenders always nice. I love that sometimes it's not so crowded so you can just relax listen to music and chill”
“Found this random truck along the side of the road and was probably the best açaí bowls we had in Hawaii. Added crushed Oreos and peanut butter. No frills bowl really but simple and fresh. Açaí was delicious. Came by the same road the next day trying to get one more bowl before our flight home but was too late ?”
“No dine in, no tables, no other staff. Just yummy breakfast plates and plate lunches. They do take card but we paid cash. No bathrooms. The shopping center has chairs and tables aligning the store fronts. Ordering is super easy. The pancakes were really really yummy and the kalbi was delicious. Great for grab and goParking: Parking lot is in the shopping center”
“A plus to the staff and Mahalo. I was in Waimanalo for the month of February and this quickly became my go to...amazing Bento breakfast, awesome coffee, and super nice ”
“Their coffee is delicious, we ordered a regular venti coffee and a peppermint mocha frappe. Both were very yummy. We also ordered a breakfast bento and it was pretty good. The rice was luke warm but not bad. Nice little coffee place. CASH ONLY and no ATM.”
“Great place to enjoy some real Mexican food! I recommend the quesabirrias a lot.. Plus the staff is super friendly and welcoming, truly feels like being back home in ”
“The meals will certainly satisfy men from Central and Eastern Europe, absolutely not recommended by cardiologists on a permanent basis, but hearty and very filling.”
“Very fresh ingredients. This location bakes their bread every morning so the sandwiches are hot and fresh! My favorite location on the island. The place is always really clean and the staff is friendly too!”
“Always wonderful to have Dave's ice cream. We were concerned about the young man working there... His attitude wasn't good... He lacked Customer service.”
“When driving on Oahu, I stopped in front of Kailua. Two big cheeseburgers and a drink at the store for $10! I ordered this with emphasis on cost performance. We ate the finished food in the eat-in space next to the counter. The most important cheeseburger was mediocre. I think there would have been some special impressions if the sauce had been solid, but isn't this something like a sauce? The taste is just patty, cheese, and a slightly salty taste. My honest impression was that the second one was a little hard to eat.The atmosphere is Hawaiian loco! That was nice, but honestly it didn't feel clean.”
“I didn't have enough money for what I ordered so they made the difference up.So ever since I have been leaving my change at the register for the next person who needs a few cents.”
“Swung by here a few times for some beach food before heading up to Bellows. Fries and nuggs were hot, golden, and crispy. Burgers were hot, juicy, and delicious. Love that for them.”
“Love this place. Got me going back to Chinatown. The only bad thing is that they have to get rid of the attitude of hurry up and finish your drink, here's the check. Here's your hat what's your hurry?”
“Come for a cocktail, stay for the food (and for another cocktail)Had a wonderful experience at the Podmore for a work related dinner. The delicious custom drinks out everyone at ease (my personal favorite was the paper plane) and the food was delightful.Huge shout out to Alaina for exceptional service, excellent pacing of the meal, and for finding it in her heart to find an extra seat for Dan, the last second addition to our reservation.5/5 people would return!Parking: Street parking, I believe it was free”
“Hands down the best meal we had during a recent Hawai’i trip. Miro had been in our must-do list for some time and we certainly weren’t disappointed.Great cocktails to kick off and then a succession of delicious dishes, each beautifully presented and with intense flavours. Our first visit but not our last!”
“Everything we ordered today taste really good! I think our fav was imperial or kisetsu tonic… something with passionfruit lol you can ask the staff for recommendations and just follow his suggestion.”
“Looking for which luau to go to can be overwhelming as there are so many options but if you’re looking for a more intimate and family feel, this is the spot! This was the first luau I’ve been too and it was honestly such a great experience! The food and drinks were great but the people who work and perform are the stars of the show! The venue is also gorgeous!! Highly recommend checking this luau out!”
“There was a short wait, about 15 minutes, but well worth the wait. The corn beef and hash was off the chain and so was the french toast. Customer service was awesome. Well worth the time and money!”
“Had to book in advance, but we enjoyed our meal here! We came after learning about the opening when we went to Bar Leather Apron. I think all the dishes were good, and we went ahead with some addons such as the caviar (not really necessary, but why not). 4 stars overall just since I personally don’t know that a dish stood out to me in a very memorable way, but that’s just nit picking. Also glad they had a non-alcoholic version of the drink accompaniments, would recommend that for anyone who doesn’t enjoy the taste of alcohol, since that would have been too strong for me, and it was interesting all the nice pairings they put together.”
“Mud Hen Water had one of the more unique menus out of all the places we ate in Hawaii, with dishes that were an interesting fusion of Japanese, traditional Hawaiian, and many other cuisines. My favorite dish was the handmade pasta with venison, which was absolutely delicious and caused my wife to almost abandon her meal to try and eat mine. Hers was also fantastic, a crispy chicken dish that was tender, well-seasoned and really juicy. With excellent service, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere, Mud Hen Water is a strong recommendation for anyone in the Honolulu area looking for a unique dinner spot.”
“It's my 4th time in Hawaii and it's by far the best acai bowl I've ever had.Why did I only find out now?If I come back next time, I will definitely come back.”
“My first time visiting and tasting this. I had a Hojicha w/nama chocolate and added a light caramel drizzle. It was very creamy with a subtle nutty flavor. The chocolate was soft and melts in your mouth. Giving a 5 star since I have nothing to compare it to yet.”
“Food and service was awesome. I can't stand burritos that are full of rice or potatoes. This isn't one of those. The hangover burrito was awesome! We also had the the B.E.A.S.T. and the croissant French toast. They were all amazing!”
“Great food, great guy. Search up the address though, because it would be easy to miss (and THAT would be a shame if you did)2411 Kūhiō Ave., Honolulu, HI 96815”
“Loved the Malasadas! Make sure you eat them while they are hot! Tried original, guava, and pineapple (special). Worth the hype! This is the original location so parking is limited (having a smaller vehicle helps) so make sure you have some time to wait for others to leave. Or come during off peak hours if possible; I came around 2pm ish and got lucky to park right away.Parking: Limited parking if during rush.”
“A small hole in the wall restaurant in Chinatown, Yield is a an amazing find. We grabbed a delicious Dutch baby, soft scrambled eggs, and a farmers breakfast. The portions sizes are perfect, but you just might want more because the food is that tasty. Super courteous staff, friendly server. This is a keeper for sure Parking is hard to find, but that's just Chinatown for you.”
“Really cute cafe, and the food is so good. This was our first taste of local Hawaii food, and we were not disappointed!Definitely recommend if you are spending your day on this side of the island.”
