Dinner with friends while in town visiting. Everything was amazing! I had a small filet with seared scallops and I couldn't stop exclaiming how amazing everything was. Service was a perfect 10! We were full when leaving, but knew we needed to taking some dessert to go! I'll be back next time I'm near! Top 5 restaurants Lifetime, and I eat at good restaurants every weekend of the year
The Big Steer is my favorite Midwest restaurant!!! I have been coming here over the last two decades and have never had a bad meal. Even though I no longer live in the Midwest and actually live over a thousand miles away, I always find a reason to stop, even when I'm not reasonably close to the restaurant. I book a day or couple days in a hotel, just to eat here. Two recommendations; 1. you absolutely MUST try the house dressing on the salad (!!!!!) and, 2. Call and get reservations....read full review
