Every time I come in here the staff is super nice and it's always clean! Food comes pretty quick even when it's busy and everyone is working fast and efficiently! Love this place and it's my favorite restaurant in Ames!!
A feast fit for a King!! This plate could easily be shared! Wait staff were very attentive and friendly! The place can really move people through, but will not rush you if you're having relaxing meal out! If in Ames, and looking for a great place to eat some bbq, check this place out! Oh and the ice cream menu is fantastic

Hickory Park is beyond just an eatery, it is almost an attraction by itself in Ames. We loved their special blend of rustic charm and welcoming warmth.The service was casual but great. In the realm of the BBQ flavors, it may not be my number one. However, with their very resonable pricing, feel, and ambience, you might as well do yourself a favor and give them a shot when you're in this part of the town.
