The tuna sandwiches are great. Delivery has been a little delayed recently but I’m assuming that’s from worker shortages. I recommend using the app when you order so that you can get a free sandwich.
I was in Ames last week visiting my 93 year-old Dad. He had moved himself into an assisted living facility, and it was not easy for this loving son to bear witness to his changes since my last visit. After one morning of this and that, I needed a break. So while Dad was enjoying his Lunch at his new home, I took off, grabbed a Jimmy John's sandwich to go, and then headed off to Alluvial for a beer to go with it. Food is always good. Not necessarily the fastest Jimmy John’s around, but the folks there do try their best (and if you’re gonna complain about waiting at Jimmy John’s, try sitting in the Duff ave McDonald’s at rush hour. You’ll stop complaining real fast). Ordering ahead on the app usually means it’s almost always ready when you get there, unlike a lot of restaurants in the area that wait for you to get there before they’ll start (looking at you, pancheros).Also...read full review
