“Tried to come here twice and had no good luck. Third time is the charm! Had an incredible experience with our server Deaja. Would recommend starting with the Brussels Sprouts followed by a burger, either the Hit Corner or the Mushroom Swiss. Don’t forget to upgrade to the Truffle Fries!!“
“Ordered delivery tonight. Called the store because last time I ordered my pancakes were missing syrup. Just wanted to ask them to make sure they remembered it. Talked to Rob and asked him to double check for it before it went out. Mentioned to him I was moving and all my stuff was packed so I could t get to my own syrup. When my order arrived not only did it have 2 containers of syrup there was a bakery bag on top of it with a note “The moving process is always better with a chocolate chip cookie! Hope all goes as planned for you! P.S. I remembered the syrup!” In the bag we’re 2 cookies! Such a kind gesture in a time when people working in service industries are treated so poorly by many customers. Was extraordinarily kind of him to take some time out of his day to brighten mine! Sad I am moving out of Ankeny because this is the type of person I want to take care of me when I go out or order in. Thank you Rob for making my evening!“
“Great drinks. I love the brown butter old fashioned. This is our 4th time here and each time is great. The wait staff is always kind, fast, and makes the experience even better. I had the fish and chips tonight and it was delicious. I had to take 1/2 home because the portions are huge. Highly recommended!“

“The team at Cabaret is friendly, and the food selection is a welcomed plus in comparison to other bar restaurants in Ankeny. They have a great selection of sandwiches, including original and unique tenderloin options I highly recommend! If pizza is your thing, there's a good line of ingredient full and tasty options. Beyond the normal options found everywhere, you'll have more clever and appetizing options at Cabaret. The appetizers are good and sized as expected. Make sure to pair your evening with a cocktail off the menu, this is top notch. The vibe is good, better with a nice evening on the patio. The staff and people make this a place worth visiting if you're out. Very reasonable pricing and a fair amount of seating even in the peak hours.Vegetarian options: Cabaret has a meatless hamburger option that isn't the cheap black bean or compressed soy version. It's always prepared well and served best on a pretzel bun with some Cab fries!“
“Was close by for work so was looking up places you eat and found this place. Needless to say the sandwich was what pulled me in. Service was great very quick at seating me taking my order and bringing my food out. Let's just say this was much bigger than I thought but so good. Make sure to ask for extra napkins as it can get kinda messy. But my server brought me out some on request. The place looks very new and clean great lil spot in the corner of the building. Definitely will be back to try something new when I'm close.“
“We were in for lunch yesterday, my grandson wasn't feeling well. Our waitress refused to wait on us. She must have gotten the manager, he was a real trooper, took our order and delivered our food. I thought it was unprofessional of her. But we were suppose to get salad, he even said he forgot the salad and never brought it. Never again!!!“

“Absolutely delicious! I had the Pineapple Chicken meal, which came with steamed rice, crab Rangoon, macaroni salad & a drink. Hubby had the Chicken Katsu, which came with steamed rice and macaroni salad. His chicken was so crispy and delicious. We also split an order of Spam Musubi. Everything was amazing and both were large portions, we both ended up taking part of our meals home. 10/10 recommend. Great prices and friendly staff!“
