After a long drive and touring the Brucemore, I was SO hungry. A nearby shopkeeper in the Czech Village recommended Anvil. I'm so glad that they did. The Philly was full of fresh hot beef, carmelized onions, and just a few peppers as I had specified. I ate inside and could only eat half of it. And that fresh, crunchy dill pickle? I shopped some more but, of course, ate the rest of that badass sandwich on the way home. Thank you, Anvil--you are great at what you do!
Amazing portions, excellent quality.. as others have said pickles and dill spread is amazing.. I have tried this week salads, pastrami sandwiches, Italian subs, waffle fries... (do not forget the waffle fries.. this ain't no chick filla) and everything has been amazing I mean.. top notch amazing.. I order pickles once a year direct from NYC.. these.. I'm sorry new york.. are better.

If you haven’t stopped in you are missing out on some great food. Sandwiches are fantastic and there is always something you can pick up to make at home. Crawfish stuffed mushrooms were a great add to dinner this weekend. Staff was s great and friendly.
