In my opinion it's as good as any in the area and better than most. Cindy had had beef tacos and loved them I had a lengua/tongue taco and a tripa/tripe taco and a bowl of shrimp soup and everything was excellent. I really had doubts if I'd like the tripe but I think it was the best I've ever had. No off putting or bitter taste what so ever. I'm definitely going back for more. The food is reasonably priced and quite tasty. I eat there often as a group and they keep up well. We have a large group of friends (20-40) who meet once a month and that night we had 32 people. We warned them weeks ahead that we had problem with staffing at most Mexican restaurant, and the manager and her husband listened to us.This restaurant andthe cousin restaurant in Rock Falls are the ONLY Mexican restaurants that were able to get out orders out and not miss any orders....read full review
Best place in town! Don't even waste your time an the by Habor Freight! ??.Rude owner and small portions, save your self the trouble.This is where you want to eat, over an over again.
