“I really like the look of the place. Very open and inviting. Good atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I ordered my usual bacon cheeseburger plain with barbecue sauce on the side and fries. My dining companion got a pizza burger with tater tots. As for the accuracy of our order. Our fries and tater tots were in the wrong baskets. And my burger was not plain. It had salad all over it. It did look good and fresh if you like salad on your burger. After I fixed my burger we dug in. The fries and tater tots were perfect. Hot and delicious. I was told the pizza burger was excellent. As for my bacon cheeseburger. The bun was fresh and toasted perfectly. The cheese was tasty and just the right amount. The bacon was slightly undercooked for my taste. And only 2 slices. The burger was easily identifiable as a premade frozen patty. And had no char. A little disappointing. The other elements made it worth eating though. A good overall experience. Looking forward to going back on Wing Wednesday for their chicken wings. All in all definitely worth checking out.“
“Kind of a dive bar type of place with a great menu with plenty of options to choose from. My wife got a steak dinner while I went for more traditional bar food with traditional breaded chicken wings, fried cheese curds, & beer. It all was very good! Our server was friendly & attentive even though it was pretty busy & she was covering a bunch of tables.“

“4.25* (out of 5) Food: 5* Atmosphere: 4* Value: 4* Service: 4* 01/26/2024 Based on a recommendation from my wife's coworker, we decided to give Nick's Bar & Grill a try with our son and daughter-in-law. We weren't quite sure as we pulled up to what appeared to be a strip-mall, but the storefront for Nick's (see picture) was reassuring. We started with a round of drinks (see pictures) and while the Tequila Old Fashioned (see picture) was unique, I wouldn't order it again - struck me as a straight shot of inexpensive tequila. We both really enjoyed our main course meals. My wife started with the Shrimp Bisque soup (see picture) based on her coworker's recommendation followed by the Ribeye (see picture). I went with the Blackened Salmon (see picture) and really liked it - done just right with the perfect amount of 'kick' in the blackening seasoning. Last but certainly not least (for my sweet-tooth), we shared a piece of Key Lime Pie (see picture). While our waitress was apologizing for the appearance (falling apart) due to it being fresh out of the oven - we especially enjoyed it and the warm temperature only made it taste that much better. “So I haven't been to Tito's, but I threw them 5 stars for Atmosphere because the food and service were so good on my delivery order...I grabbed a Gyro, + extra meat... that was a mistake! The Gyro apparently comes stuffed from the start, because this thing was a monster! I also ordered sweet potato fries, and these aren't the normal skinny fries you find everywhere! Tito's has raised the bar on sweet potato fries, huge, crispy, amazing flavor!I don't have a photo... it was too delicious to slow down and take a photo.“
“It's a great pot stop off of I-235. Nice bar with great food, staff, and clean bathrooms. On our way to Chicago from KC area. I couldn't face a fast-food stop. This was definitely a good decision. Excellent! ?This is a small neighborhood place and parking might be an issue. I prefer small :)“
“My daughter and her family took us to Dam Pub this evening. I wasn't expecting much but I was so wrong! What a fantastic place for drinks and a great meal! The adult beverages were tasty and terrific! Everyone had pizza except me as the cold weather prompted me to try the chicken and noodles. The appetizer was fried portobello mushrooms with a parmesan dipping sauce! Unreal! This was the first time visit for us but it will not be last! 80's theme to the music and decor! We loved it!Parking: You need to park across the street in the strip mall parking lot. We easily found a close spot.“
“Fun dive bar experience where I even met some new friends! However, there was one bartender who was extremely rude and had an attitude any time I tried to order a drink. Definitely soured the night. My girl friends also had the same experience. However, my husband didn't have any issue so just had him order the drinks.“
“Wonderful service and food. I got a gyro and my boyfriend ordered two pitas (beef and a beef and potato). Everything was excellent. The pitas were large so we took one to go and ate it later. Small menu, but that's okay because what they do offer they do it well. Wasn't sure what to expect when we randomly stopped in, but so glad we did. Can't wait to tell my friends about this place!“

“We stopped in on a very busy saturday night. We were actually seated pretty quickly. The service was absolutely amazing for as busy as she was. We unfortunately did not get to try the wings. But we all had sandwiches, French dips, clubs quesadillas. Appetizers, everything came out to our table hot. Everything came out fresh everything food wise and service wise was absolutely amazing. They needed to fill the table napkins and condiments a little more because we did run out. But other than that, everything was great. It was a great experience. It was a really great location we enjoyed it very much.“
“Great food, drinks, and service at a small local bar and grill. Daily specials that can't be missed, including the mushroom and Swiss burger pictured. I had the Cowboy burger and it was tasty. The ranch is top-notch, and what Iowan doesn't love ranch! They also create a few other delicious sauces, including their Uptown sauce that was perfect with the onion rings. My only critique would be that the burgers were a little more well done than I prefer which made them a touch dry. But great quality beef. Staff were attentive and explained all the specials and options. It is a typical bar and grill layout with tables as well as a large wrap around bar.“
