It's hard to go into Kapok and see the dining room empty. But wow, the kitchen keeps on cookin'! Their menu is broad and whatever you want, they'll provide! Kapok comes through! I love this place and would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat high quality Asian foods.
I can only speak on vegetarian options. I've only gotten the general tso veggies with lo mein and I've liked to so much that I've ordered it multiple times. It's slightly more vingar-y than most general tso I've had, but still good! This is my favorite chinese place in town (again, this is for vegetarian chinese).
Some of the dishes are hit or miss. I think a few of the ones I've tried more recently weren't to my taste. The meat for the Korean stew was a lot of fat and not that much meat. I do appreciate that they don't cover everything in sweetened sauce like a lot of chain restaurants do. They're hot fish dish was great and actually pretty spicy.
