“This is my Go-To for Soups! They always have multiple choices and haven’t had one I didn’t like. Clean atmosphere and the staff absolutely rock! I have yet to have a bad experience. I can’t recommend one waitress because they all work as a team and make sure you don’t wait for a refill ect. Foods always out in a timely manner even when the place is packed! Highly recommend checking it out if ya haven’t.“
“my daughter and I went to barleys yesterday for lunch. loved that it was handicap accessible without any steps. We sat towards the back of the reatraunt and was quickly serviced by a waitress to get our drink orders and given menus. I ordered the patty melt and my daughter ordered a Canadian pizza. both were really good. the only thing we wished were different and I say we because she stole a lot of my fries lol were the fries needed seasoned with something. we had to add salt. and the patty melt sandwich could've used an added sauce like Dorothy lynch or something. it wasn't dry just needed something else to add flavor. otherwise it was really good. will definitely be back.“
“Very casual bar, they do serve food. They have a place to play pool, and darts if this is your thing. I went to meet up with friends and enjoy a nice time. They do serve alcohol and sodas. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Place is kept clean and the are in the process of adding outside seating.“
“We've been participating in group bike rides starting and ending at Railway Inn on Wednesdays since September. The proximity to the FIRST AVE bike trail can't be beat and its convenient location in Council Bluffs is a great stopping point for almost any bike ride. I really enjoy their veggie burger and LOVE how you can swap any of their creative burgers for a veggie burger. Tom is a very attentive bartender/server. We will be back again and again! “food is great, service is always horrible. something always goes wrong. typically they forget a small part of your food. the most recent time I waited an hour for a to go order just to be told "it never got sent back." food is awesome but not worth that kind of wait honestly.“
“Looking for a local "dive bar" with some musical flare? Here it is. Enjoyed dinner, drinks and dancing to Blue House RTOH. You can tell by the happy table chatter and bar banter that everyone is like family here. Kind of a "Cheers" atmosphere. Give it a try“
“We were in town for a baseball tournament and stopped here for lunch in between games and had a party of around 30 ppl. They welcomed us with open arms. Without any prior notice, we walked in with our large baseball family, got seated, had drinks served and orders taken within 10 min. Our food arrived piping hot within 15 min and was absolutely delicious!! I’m sure we put a slight strain on the staff and cook, so we were just blown away by their 5 star service. Just awesome!! Highly highly recommend this lovely place!!“

“We've now been here twice. The food was really good both times. The service was friendly both times, but we did have to flag down a waitress both times also. The first time, just because we needed the check and the second time because they forgot one of the sides. All-in-all, I would recommend, and we are planning to return ourselves.“
