Meg and her wonderful staff will make sure you leave with a smile and great conversation. I judge most coffee shops by their black coffee and Sugar Grove has the best. Fresh donuts daily from a local proprietor coupled with art and keepsakes made by area crafts people will leave you wondering why you hadn't come sooner. And the sammies are out of this world. Do yourself a favor and get to Sugar Grove Good sooner rather than later!!”

“Five Points Dallas Center is well worth the short drive from the Des Moines metro area. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts were a gastronomic treat! Besides the wonderful menu, daily specials can be found. Also, the bartender is well versed in specialty drinks. I am delighted I found this charming new restaurant.”

“Right off the main road. Came in to grab gas, the gas station has a lot of entrances and parking. Getting in and out was super quick. Grabbed a coffee inside, everything for coffee was available and ready to go. The clerk was super nice and we were quickly on our way.”

“I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon and got a 2 scoop cup of coffee heath. The girls behind the counter were very nice and gave me a sample no problem when I asked. The 2 scoops were just over $7. The place was cute, had a decent amount of seating but very cool that they had small child seating as well. The ice cream was good, not overly heavy on the coffee flavoring. The heath was good though I personally wished there was a bit more as I did have quite a few bites without any real heath in it. It seemed pretty busy for a chilly and windy day but no one really waited in line for service. I would say check it if you are in the area. It's good ice cream with nice friendly staff.”

“Came here on Saint Patrick's Day for the green beer. We also tried the Green Caramel Apple cider. It was very sweet and delicious. It was fairly busy but no wait. The food options were amazing. Not limited to typical bar food. We had a Reuben, Kimchi flat bread, and brussel sprouts. It was so much food, but so good we couldn't stop eating.”

“Love the selection of fresh made energy drinks available. They have so many flavors and a unique mix of flavors like green apple and white chocolate. In addition there are different coffees, latte's and smoothies. The service is great in this drive thru place! A sixteen ounce energy drink is about $4.50.”

“Fun dive bar deep into Waukee. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays, a few TVs to catch a game, darts, pool and cheap drinks. It gets really busy but the staff does a great job trying to keep the drinks flowing! They do fun events like psychics, bingo and other things every once and awhile as well. Highly recommend.”

“Edit: Since the change in location I had to update my review to 5 stars. Great place to go, love the new atmosphere!Love this place! Food is great and servers are amazing! The ONLY reason it's a 4 with me is because it can get pretty loud in there due to the tile floors and nothing to soak up the sound. I'd suggest maybe some sound panels for the walls :)”

“Very clean and modern atmosphere. The owners are really nice and friendly. Coffee is smooth. Pastries are freshly made and sealed in the glass jar to keep fresh. The peanut butter cookies were even warm when I got them in the noon. You can tell the owners are really hard working and taking care of the business properly.”

“I love it when we get to choose the type of meat ( I picked Ribeye ) and appetizers like mushrooms, onions, green peppers, shrimp in cast iron - small skillets.Then you go to the bid brick charcoal grill. That is where you cook your own food, plenty of Texas Bread to butter up and grill.That's when it you can get baked beans, baked potatoes, fried potatoes, at the warming table.Great food , give it a try!”
