So many good choices hands-down best restaurant I’ve been in in the last five years!! The service is also amazing fast and friendly!!

This was our first time at Angry Goldfish and the service was exceptional! We had the Cuban mules, the poutine for an app, and the goldfish tenderloin and the chicken chili Mac for the main courses. Everything was awesome. JP waited on us and he was attentive and responsive the entire time. Good music and a cool atmosphere.
Next time I'm in Des Moines I'll Def be back. The food and service was great!

I have been to the Angry Goldfish a couple of times in the past few weeks. On both occasions the service was very good, the food was served quickly and tasted great. I highly recommend it.

Got a killer special on a Tuesday. The burgers were great and they had a good beer selection. Fast service even when they were busy. Parking sucks, but you can walk.
OMG whatever you do; GO to this place! We only visit DSM a couple times a year but we will without a doubt make this a regular stop.We just happened upon this location for a late lunch. It was roughly 2pm on a weekday when we stopped- however there were a couple other tables already sat and more people came while we ate so I can imagine it gets busy during regular meal times.Service was friendly, attentive, and quick - perfect for hangry kiddos. Food was delicious!! Portions were large. We will return!

I have no idea why my server (who never introduced herself, always a red flag) thought that I didn't realize how much head is supposed to be on a beer but she slapped me down with a beer that had a disgusting amount of foam on it. When I asked nicely to maybe please provide me with the legally required amount of beer, she copped a horrible attitude. She refused to admit she made a mistake. She DID tell me she was "done with this conversation" which is insane considering the conversation was about ripping me off of beer and my trash food. I walked right the hell out of my meal, which was gross, hey thanks for asking. and after many hours of thinking about it im going to be fair, the burger was only kinda bad, I guess. The fried pickles were disgusting! Soggy, greasy, and tasted like cucumbers.(turn the heat up on your fryer) She never knew that because she never asked. Whomever her name was. Some older blonde girl. I've heard it was a good lunch break spot but I'm just not gonna go back and I promise I'll turn everyone I know away from it. Don't go here!Please.And hey for a little bit of fun and confirmation of how trash this place is. Go ahead and read the owners response to the other bad reviews! Absolute laugh riot!
