The bar was a mess and the bartender was unfriendly questioning the age of our 30 year old daughters claiming they did not serve food and they were under 21. We clearly read that at the door and entered. Would not go back. Bartender needs to be a little more friendly. With that being said we left.

I went out with some friends for St. Patrick’s day, and I have to say, I am very happy with how your security team was. Anytime I was alone (going to the bathroom, waiting for my boyfriend) the security staff would come up and make sure I was okay. I believe acts like this can help promote a safe environment for young women. The bartenders were also very nice and helpful. They handled a busy night smoothly!

Great Irish Pub! Fun spot to stop and grab drinks or spend the entire evening! No food served here, stop at Johnny's if you're hungry.

We chose to go to Annies for my friends birthday. The bartender seemed annoyed that a big group of people had came in. We ordered drinks and shots as one would while they are celebrating someone’s birthday. The bartender then THREW a shot at the birthday girl because “someone had looked at them wrong”. She then mentioned the skin color of the girl who had supposedly looked at her wrong. I’m very disappointed and confused as we CHOSE annie’s as one of our stops, because we’ve been there multiple times and had good experiences otherwise. Do better.

Just... no. Review needs eighty-five characters, but this isn't even a decent bar. Sorry. Go to El Bait Shop.

As an English tourist this is a great place for a drink, sadly we couldn't stay very long but the vibe was great & I could have stayed all night. If I'm in Des Moines again during this vacation I will definitely go

I was here as a part of a large conference after-party. The service was great! The outdoor space was large and open with a large bar in the center. Plenty of seating and standing room.

Our bartender Sam was FANTASTIC! Such a fabulous person, our drinks were amazing! She was warm and friendly and offered amazing advice on fun things to do to a couple of out of towners! She is a gem for this establishment!

Drink was thrown on me, staff refused to do anything. Almost like they want a fight to happen….

Bouncers were very difficult and incredibly rude. Went there on a Thursday and was amazing. Can't emphasis enough how rude the doormen were very disrespectful

Just average kinda college bar. Not much indoor space, so little tough during the cold months to enjoy. There are better options nearby in my opinion.

Welcome to Des Moines. You just went to an Irish pub that serves a lot of Mex imports. Good for them and if any country should appreciate the immigrant spirit it's an Irish pub in Des Moines. I love the crowd, people like a shot&beer and the bar is down to talk. This last point is lost on almost any bar in a city. If you come here for a PM drink holler at my girl Richel she'll pour a sick Guiness and if the vibes are right do a shot of Jámo with you. Enjoy as it's the NEW Midwest at its finest.
