Such a lovely spot for a date night. I used to work here back in high school when it was café di Scala and I had not been back since. Went for an anniversary and was treated with champagne and such a good meal. I got the seafood risotto and everything was phenomenal. The pizza was spot on and everything was delicious!

If you've been craving an elevated, intimate dining experience you need look no further. Our first visit to Aposto will certainly not be our last... Everything from the service (attentive but very unobtrusive) to the cocktails were top notch and then we tried the food. Wow! Every bite was was worth savoring, we were even fortunate enough to meet Chef Cole during the main course. Undoubtedly one of our favorite meals together to date; we're already planning our next visit!

If you want an exceptional dining experience this is the place to go! Our server made excellent suggestions for what dishes to try and what wines to pair with them. It was all delicious and we had a wonderful evening!

Went for an early Valentine's date night. Loved the cozy atmosphere and the service was attentive and friendly the whole time. Started with pizza fritta - bone marrow sauce was light, yet rich with the delicate crispy crust. Entrees: partner got the Osso Bucco - tender, fell off the bone, very comforting and indulgent. I got the cavatelli - it was a lovely simple marinara with Italian sausage. Portions were generous, I had some to take home. For dessert, we got the orange pound cake with green tea and lavender whipped cream. The flavor of orange was nice, but unfortunately the cake was a bit dry and lackluster in presentation compared to the other dishes we had. Couldn't taste green tea and the whipped cream was light and fluffy but the lavender flavor wasn't coming through. Overall, a great experience and perfect for a special date night.

Sat at a little 2 seater table by a window overlooking the street. There was a decent amount of street parking available. Server was friendly and attentive and even added a candle to my dessert after overhearing it was my birthday. We tried quite a few items while we were. Of the ones we tried, I'd recommend the fried polenta appetizer, zuppa toscana soup appetizer, cavatelli in a sausage red sauce, seafood risotto, and brown butter ice cream. The only dish I would not recommend is the orange pistachio creme brulee. The flavors did not mesh well and it was a bit disorienting to have so many whole pistachios baked into the dish.

As I read the reviews of this place, I was skeptical. Surely an establishment that makes their noodles in house, and charges anywhere from 30-50 an entree would not consistently let people down. Well, I gave it a shot. We came here for my wife’s birthday.Started with the bone marrow pizza fritta. It was good. Hard to mess up really. The mussels with crostini were arguably good! Things were looking up. The creamy white wine sauce with faint crushed red peppers was tasty and gave much hope. And then my entree came out: Vongole- linguini noodles in a garlic, parsley lemon sauce with clams… Where to begin. The sauce has no real flavor. I couldn’t make out any of the listed ingredients but butter. It was seemingly not salted or seasoned even slightly. The noodles, soggy. Expecting al dente noodles at a place like this should not be far fetched? Maybe I’m missing something. And then the grit. The sandy, unpleasant, grit. Every bite I took led to crunchy sandy grit in my mouth. Unsure the source but most likely improperly (or not at all) cleaned and prepared clams. After the first couple bites I tried to get my waitress’ attention as she walked by, and was unsuccessful. After sitting there and letting the food get cold I realized help was not coming. Given that I was about to pay $36 for my gritty pasta, I ate it.. with a smile. As taught by my mother to eat what was served to you. (Although I think she meant places other than a ‘fine dining’ establishment lol)Duck confit w/ risotto: Flavor! Seasoning! An evident contrast! my wife enjoyed her food. Fresh lemon punching through the rich duck. Seasoned appropriately. Risotto, overcooked to the point of mush but she didn’t mind. Definitely over cooked but again - the wife was happy. We finished with burnt but ice cream. Good but not perfected. Very faint intended flavor and more vanilla than anything. They tried! We got Orange green tea cake with lavender whipped cream to go: it was on the dry side and hard. But the flavor was there. The lavender whipped cream was tasty.Overall I’m disappointed. What is really suffering here is truly the lack of culinary consistency. No thought or care in the dish, or else the finished product would argue otherwise! It is my understanding they just released the new Menu a few days ago, and it could be they need to work out some kinks. But to me, these are more than kinks that need fixed. And apparently at the customer’s expense. In this case, everything was not right.

We had reservations for 7:30 on Friday evening for a dinner to celebrate something. At 4:45 my reservation was mysteriously canceled. I called as soon as I got the email at 4:50 and was told that they don’t know why my reservation was canceled but that someone else now had my 7:30 spot. There was nothing they could do. I explained we have people visiting from out of town and it’s very last minute. Could they call the reservation that was literally made in the last 5 minutes and explain to the what happened and she told me no, they were not ok with canceling someone else’s reservation. I could sit my party of 5 at the bar or I was just out of luck. Not very understanding of what happened or willing to make it right.

I've been to this restaurant before like 5 years ago and was very impressed then. Seems it took a dive downhill ever since. Took a very important client and friend to this restaurant because I know the atmosphere is very private and quaint. Hardly could see the house at night, let alone the stairs because it was poorly lit. We asked for several different drinks and they didn't have dr. Pepper, sweet ice tea, nor a variety of hot tea. Extra cold coffee when served. It's a restaurant with a bar, at least make sure it's stock full. Service was mediocre. Was not accommodating at all with our requests or tried to provide alternative options. They had all the room to sit people but wanted to sit everyone in one area. It's not that big, it's not that complicated to serve a couple of tables. Will not go back as value for service was subpar at best.

I really tried to love this place as the setting seemed like a cool place to enjoy a birthday outing. However, it fell very short from our expectations. It is a very small, intimate setting and neat place. The gnocchi with pumpkin had practically no taste to it and was drowned in olive oil. The homemade ice cream had an overbearing basil taste. The service was terrible! It was a Thursday night and not busy, yet our waitress failed to check in on us, our drinks arrived after we were done with our meal, we had to ask the hostess to get our waitress to put in our entree order, and others at tables beside ours visibly looked frustrated with the lack of attention from the same waitress. Overall, I'm sorry to say that I will not be recommending this place to family or friends as it was overpriced for the experience and taste (lack of) of food. ☹️Parking: You'll have to park in front of someone's house and walk a bit to get to the restaurant. Plan accordingly.

Honestly this place has more potential if some of the wait staff were more attentive and the food was better.I took my wife here for her birthday. The atmosphere for dinner is perfect for a date night. The hostess was very friendly and the Victorian style home was beautiful. We arrived at 7:45 and the hostess let us wait at the bar until our reservations at 8.Then we get the table. Both my wife and I got an appetizer. She got a salad. I forgot what I ordered but it wasn't very memorable. Then we order the entrees. My wife ordered the gnocchi (keep in mind it's seasonal and it's supposed to have pumpkin, walnuts, etc.) and I got the seafood risotto. Her gnocchi was under seasoned, literally no seasoning and was nothing like it was described on the menu. My seafood rissoto was the best thing about the night and thats not saying much.Keep in mind during all this our waitress is not checking in on us. It took us 15-20 minutes just to order our entree. And this wasn't just us, it was the tables around us too. A table next to us had to physically find our waitress to get the check. We were lucky if we would see her within 10 minutes of seeing her last. Sometimes the bartender was bringing the food to us. This was on a Wednesday night and it was not busy to be fair. We ended up getting our desserts to go and asked for the check. Which took another 15-20 minutes to get to our table.I am generally pretty patient but it being my wife's birthday, spending that much money, and expecting a good experience; it just was not worth it in the end. I will be visiting again at some point to give it another go, but it was a huge let down by the service and food.

Went to Aposto for our first wedding anniversary and it was pure perfection! The food was unreal. The service was amazing! We ordered the mussels for an app and we are still thinking about how good those were! Could not recommend this place enough!
