The food is very good, the staff/owner is very friendly but due to limited staff a little slow. It's still worth the wait.

The food and service is absolutely amazing! Certainly a hidden gem in the Des Moines area. It's a little rough around the edges but the staff and food are great. My only complaint is that the communication is very hit and miss. We were going to call in for takeout, but no one answered the phone, and the voice mail said they would be closed until the 13th of February for Chinese New Years, and since it was the 16th, we assumed they were busy. So, we drove the 15 minutes (not too bad) to the restaurant, only to find it closed. Afterwards, we checked the Facebook page and any sites we could find, and nowhere was it listed that they were closed, and since it was well before close (6 pm), we don't really know what was up!

Veggie pho w/ added seafood! Only a medium bowl is more then enough for fro people! If you can eat a lot then you’ll be good! Super friendly owners, will be back to say hey and try some new foods ?

You can't really go wrong with a place that won the Pho King trophy.

Their Pho is the best! Call before going because they aren't always open even though their hours say they are.. ?‍♀️

I'd rate a 0 star if I could.. I had the pad se ew and it was the worst I've ever had. The noodles were unbelievably too thick and the chicken tasted weird like they dropped it on the floor then served it up. That was my first and last time going there. Sheesh!

Attempted to go three time to AroyDee. Closed every time. Is this place even in business?

Heard of this restaurant through a food lovers group on Facebook and decided to give it a try. It was a 10/10! Food was amazing from the eggrolls, angry catfish & papaya salad. Will definitely be returning!

I’ve been a regular here for the last year. Their egg rolls are some of the best in town. The beef and brisket Pho is easily the best in town as well. I will try other Thai/Pho restaurants, but always find myself disappointed it doesn't live up to Aroy Dee.

I drove into town for the Des Moines Marathon and just happened to stay one block away from this amazing little Thai restaurant. They have a huge selection of dishes from various Asian flavors, so many that it can be rather confusing. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all fantastic. You can't really go wrong with a place that won the Pho King trophy.

We recently dined at this restaurant for my brother's birthday, and it was an excellent choice for our Asian food cravings. The menu boasts a diverse range of Asian cuisines, including Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. Our order included a delightful bowl of pho, generously portioned and delicious. The standout for us was the eggrolls, undoubtedly the finest in the city. The owner, a warm and gracious host, made us feel like part of their extended family. We've uncovered a gem for Asian cuisine in town and look forward to returning. Plus, the prices are very reasonable!
