Buddy and I went in after bar close, both of us got a burrito. Got to the counter and the dude working the cash register told us the burritos were $24 a piece. Obviously, we were astounded and told them we weren't paying $48 for two sub-par burritos. The dude looked us straight in the face and said it was that expensive because we got guacamole. Got tired of arguing and left. Last $24 burrito I'll ever buy at Bernardos. Head to Big-T or Fongs after bar close.

Horrible customer service, in the middle of me placing my order they cut me off and moved on to the next person. AND they messed up my order. Will never go back.

Not sure why the ratings are so low. Went on a Saturday night after a wedding. It was busy, and the workers were all fast with the orders. I got a steak burrito, and wife got a chicken burrito. Absolutely devoured mine and it was delicious. Wife had some leftovers for breakfast the next morning, and it was still good even without the drunk munchies.

We came as a lunch date just me and my parents. It was almost 2, so we felt a little guilty, but they did not disappoint! There were a set of enchiladas (carnitas & steak) and a steak burrito that were so good I couldn't catch a picture. And then the waffle fry nachos... holy heaven. I couldn't finish them, but I sure tried. So good, meat melts in your mouth, the salsa was so good. Will be returning.

First time trying this place. Ordered the Carne asada bowl. Was mediocre at best. Very little meat, and alot of chips, corn and lettuce. Also ordered the queso and chips. Queso wasn't queso. It was a white sauce. Not a hint of cheese flavor! Not edible at all...so disappointed!!! What happened?? Most reviews are really good...

I really enjoyed my chicken nachos. There were many toppings to choose from and I tried them all and was so glad I did as the flavors were awesome!

Such an awesome away from the "Hip" bars on court avenue!! This was my first time coming here, we had an amazing time!! Has everything someone would want if they love alcohol, karaoke and Mexican food!! The bartender was amazing and friendly and the atmosphere was great!!!

WOW!!!! This place blew my mind!! I really wanted tacos but was exhausted from a long day so I tasked my boyfriend with finding a taco shop on yelp and fetching me some. He suggested this place, I was tired, said sure without really looking and told him I wanted carne asada street tacos. What he brought back had me worried at first glance, as they were big flour shells. But when I took a bite I almost cried it was so delicious. The flavors are totally addicting and made my tastebuds do a happy dance. The steak was cooked perfectly, a delicious char and juicy inside. So flavorful ugh. I had to stop mid taco and write this review I was just so impressed with everything - the flavors, the freshness of everything (all the veggies tasted very fresh), and the homemade salsa and creama. I believe the Carne asada might be flank steak that is chargrilled, that's what it tastes like to me and if so BRAVO. It is done perfectly and that is not an easy task. 10/10 can't wait to get more!!!!!

Went here for a steak burrito - made very quickly, staff was very polite. Burrito had great flavor. The extra hot sauce was truly extra Hot! Place was very well maintained and clean. A quick street style burrito - where you can pick what goes in it. Might be the best of its kind in the area. And they are open late!

Got nachos and the food was great! Fast, quick service from the restaurant side. I would've given more stars but the staff on the bar/karaoke side needs some work. The bartender was rude and didn't take orders. The "DJ" made rude comments about everyone's song requests. He constantly left to go smoke outside and drink with friends rather than wait for more song requests.
