We came to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my adult kids. My husband has been bringing me here since i was 16. It was Saturday March 23rd. The hostess was very rude. She just said "I just can't.....I just can't!!! She just kept repeating it like i was arguing with her and i was not. Said we should have made a reservation. I said you guys don't take reservations. Never have. She said well we have been booked for awhile. I went and told my husband we needed to go somewhere else and he went up to talk to the hostess and she very rudley said I already told her I can't get you guys in!!!! My daughter in law asked why she was so rude the moment we walked up and I said I have no idea. I have never had a problem like this here. Need a new hostess.

It was a amazing experience the salad bar was a meal in itself and then the warm loaf of bread and butter and my 16oz ribeye medium rare was cooked perfectly it was definitely to big to eat all at once so I took half of it and my loaded baked potato home with me and I made a ribeye steak sandwich with it and it was just as good as it was the first time I had it I will definitely be going back there in the near future

Very disappointed! first time there, expecting a great meal, ordered a Bloody Mary, worse BM I’ve ever had! The chicken had no flavor! KFC is better. Smashed potatoes were dry and cold. ☹️☹️

We went there Friday March 15th, for a birthday party. Celebrating 4 birthdays, the service was wonderful. The waiter was Justin. I can't tell you enough words about him. He was very efficient, nice, kind and very accommodating. We had 3 children in our party and they loved the food.The food was excellent. We had a great experience. I would definitely go back there. We called Chicago Speakeasy and they were eager to take our reservation. We had 13 people with 2 under 6 and a baby. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the salad bar, well IYKYK?Thank you so much. The hostess who took our name didn't do her job tonight and she basically made us wait and sat 2 other couples who came in after us be seated. I had to ask her if our name was still on the list, she smirked and said sure is and called our name. The lady was the older one. I think she knew she screwed up I just didn't like how we probably aren't the only ones she does this to.

Ordered the ma cut of prime rib cooked medium. I got a very small cut well done and so tough I couldn't eat it, brought it home and fed it to my dogs. I also ordered 1/2 order of onion rings , it was 1/2 of as much as they used to be. Overall, I was very disappointed . I don't think I will go there again.
