First time visiting and not impressed. Ordered tenderloin, fries shake. Tenderloin was ok but very soggy, I expected fries but got waffle fries, Not the same and they were not crispy. Shake was good. Overall disappointed. One good thing is the young lady that took my order was very nice and personable though.

Best Ice Cream on the Eastside of Des Moines. Beef burgers are amazing as well. I recommend a chocolate cone dipped in cherry!!!! So freaking good!!!!!

Street traffic can be difficult to navigate when this place is in full swing because it is so popular. Recommend the fried pickles when they have them & the tornados (like a concrete or blizzard). There's nothing unusual here, but service is usually quick and the soft serve based treats are consistent. Note hot food service ends an hour before they close for ice cream.

My family went to the store with the intent of desert. We were completely thrilled with the service and ice cream. Definitely a great experience!

Unexpected stop and it did not disappoint! Decided to stop by this cute little ice cream place. Sadly there kitchen was closed around 8:30. Not sure what the kitchen hours are but they offer sandwiches and fries, burgers and many other things. I got a small cone and my husband got the brownie sundae which was okay, it had a cosmic brownie so too sweet for my taste. We spent around 6 dollars on two things. They offer shakes as well. They also have a walk up option to order or you can do a drive thru. Cute place

Don't know who's making the malts but they were thick and perfect

Old fashioned ice cream spot - walk or drive up, outdoor seating only, but they've made a fun & relaxing patio type spot to enjoy your ice cream treats. They do also serve up fast-food type meals ??

It seems like this year since they have opened the malts are not as tasty as they were when they first opened seems like the ice cream that they use taste differently that and the help at the window seems inefficient

A true east side TRADITION! …and I see why!! Stumbled across them while looking for their competitor- glad I stopped in. Fast friendly service and beautiful smiles. Great menu lots of diary and foot choices- definately worth the drive close to the Fair Grounds. What a great tradition. They even have a practice menu in back to look at prior to getting to order speaker! Well thought out ?

An East Side staple for ice cream and a quick bite. The line may be long but it's worth it. Always friendly staff and if you have a pup in your party the pup cones are a hit
