I asked for two iced peppermint mocha lattes one decaf and one regular. The light brown curly haired gal with glasses made them hot and when I went up and asked for them to be made iced because that’s what I asked for, She gave me an aweful attitude saying they went iced. And then proceeded to ignore

Hands down the best coffee and coffee shop in Des Moines!!! There is no close second. Very much enjoy chilling inside the University shop with a turtle mocha (hot or iced), good music and a GREAT staff. The quality in-store is always consistently great, never been disappointed. And, they make the Beaverdale/Drake area that much better. And as you can see from the picture, we enjoy the experience at home as well. Again, there is NO close second!!!

The best coffee in Des Moines, hands down. Mellow atmosphere, friendly, accommodating baristas, and this place sustained me like a second family while getting my nursing degree. I took my children to their awesome patio, where we'd get the paper and do the jumble and sudokus, then read it cover to cover while relishing our coffee and Chai teas. Great memories.
A local recommended them for a great smoothie and it was a great experience overall...
