It's not fair that you order takeout and when you go to eat the spoiled sauces you pay for the food in good condition not spoiled

The sauce was bad, I told the waitress and she didn't change it, my daughter ordered the asada taco and the meat was very burnt.

Absolutely delicious steak burrito and el pastor tacos. Great prices as well.On a side note, they need to dust their vents. There is a lot of dust build up that is undoubtedly falling on the tables. The food was really good though!!!

Great food, as usual, OMG the best Hispanic food in the community! AND the three options of salsas that is served with the chips beats any Mexican restaurant in town!

Couldn't have asked for better service considering I showed up 20 min before they closed, which might I add they closed at 9:30 on a Saturday & will discuss below. Food was delicious and hot no complaints with quantity or quality chips and salsa included. The corn shells were so fresh & warm I could have eaten the shells alone for my dinner. The seven seas soup was superb even though it contained only quarter size piece of fish. here are the few reasons I feel the need for 3 stars. First closing hrs are 9:30pm on a Sat.? Why so early?Secondly, the parking lot feels unsafe as it seems there's a lot going on with all the businesses & traffic on the property. So not family friendly in the evenings.Lastly, Environment inside was very noisy and rather busy. So not a place to wind down & have a drink at least not 20 min. before closing time (I can only base off the time I spent at the est.)The food was so good I will def. return & recommend.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years but I hadn’t been here in awhile now so I decided to grab some lunch. Initially walking into the restaurant the interior is run down and anyone who isn’t blindsided easily could see that, also the waiters aren’t the friendliest which you would expect great friendly service in any business. We were seated and placed our order and they brought out chips and salsa, the salsa had to much salt we couldn’t eat it, shortly after they brought our food out and I was disappointed the food was not only lacking flavor but the quality wasn’t there anymore. We told the waitress about one of the dishes that was bland and she said that not only could she not do anything for us she said that if nothing on the dish was spoiled than there was nothing to do about it so she took the dish back and didn’t offer to replace it with anything and we still got charged full price for the dish. I will not be returning here horrible customer service and they should really clean the place up they have cobwebs hanging from the ceiling for crying out loud!!!

I ordered to go and was ignored by the staff constantly! the beans were watery. I ordered a torta and a quesdilla I didn't give any hot sauces and I had to ask 2 times for hot sauce. I was about to walk out cause I was ignored just bad service don't go here

Stumbled upon this place after getting some groceries. We weren't in the mood to cook so we walked in. The servers immediately offered us an open table and sent someone who spoke English to greet us. They brought out chips, a green salsa, a red salsa, and a fish ceviche for us to start with. All complimentary. My boyfriend is allergic to shellfish and the waitress assured him that it was only fish. She was right, because not only did he not have a reaction but he absolutely loved it!Their specialty here is seafood, namely ceviche!!! One of my favorite dishes, EVER!!! I originally ordered fish tacos because their lunch deals seemed too good to overlook but I switched to the shrimp ceviche because WHY NOT?!? That served to be a good move. It was AMAZING!!! It was perfectly marinated, perfectly seasoned, and cut up into tiny bits so that you could eat it with the tostadas and crackers that it's served with. If you've never had ceviche before it starts out as raw fish, but it cooks in the citrus juices as it marinates. It might be overwhelming for the average palate but I promise you it's a culinary flavor explosion and worth exploring. I ordered a small which is still pretty big for one person. This is how it's done in their culture, and rightfully so! I snacked on it the rest of the day.My boyfriend ordered steak fajitas which were also so, so good! The cut of meat they used was so moist and tender. Honestly, the best steak fajitas we've had in Des Moines. He ordered a lime margarita and I ordered a traditional alcoholic drink. Both were good. Mine was better! Prices were extremely fair considering you're in the Midwest and landlocked. Definitely check out the lunch specials! I'm so glad that we found this place! Will definitely be back very soon!
