Amazing. Best pork I’ve ever eaten. I love how they have their pork and duck hanging on hooks, it’s like out of a movie. You 100% need to try this place. Seriously amazing.

Did not live up to the hype. Egg rolls had a weird taste. The duck had no flavor and my meal was 90 percent bone anyway. Sauces were bad. Duck and pork soup was average. Would never eat there again. Parking lot in need of major repairs, too.

Great food! I love all the menu. We buy Togo at least 3 times a month at this place.
This is by far the best Chinese food in DSM and some of the best I’ve ever tasted. It is so good. They sell roasted duck by the half or whole and BBQ pork by the pound.
The bbq duck and pork is out of this world. Especially the sauce that comes with the pork. Sold by the pound. Please support this hidden gem. All the standard fare is great as well.

I was skeptical when I first pulled into the parking lot, but Le’s has become my favorite Chinese restaurant in Des Moines. I enjoy seeking out Chinese food since moving to Iowa, but Le’s has become just one of two restaurants whose flavors remind me of home (the other being Szechuan House in Iowa City).

Excellent food. Wish they had a location in Grimes or northwest Urbandale
When was the last time you had duck? Le's is one of many hidden jewels in our city. We've eaten take-out here for many years and watched as this family has slowly but surely built this business up from nothing and now it's just fun to sit down there on a rainy Thursday afternoon and eat delicious Chinese BBQ.Over the years we've tried all the BBQ meat on the menu. Chicken, pork and duck. It's all good. Very good. This time we had half a duck, House Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls and Steamed Dumplings. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Crab Rangoons were exceptional and the duck was melt in your mouth good. The improvements in the dining area over the last years are impressive and if you want to catch this place before it becomes to crowded, the time is now.

Google says open until 7, sign on door says open until 7, but door is locked and nobody answers phone. May revise when given the opportunity to try the food, but very disappointed on this day.

Appears to traditionally be a take out place. Most authentic Asian food I've had yet. Highly recommend the duck!

While waiting for our food there were four people of Asian decent that came to get food before someone who was non-asian entered the restaurant. From my experience, this leads me to believe that the meals are up to the standards of a pan-asian pallete. Egg rolls arrived with a side of sweet Thai chili sauce. There was a spicy chili paste in a container with other condiments which boosted the livelihood of the sweet sauce immensely. A short while later, a plate of broccoli beef was delivered piping hot like it was freshly plated from the pan. The broccoli was perfectly crisp and the beef was melt in your mouth tender. I also ordered a plate of pork fried rice to go which was brought out to the table when we were finished eating. I ate this over the course of the next couple of days and it was delectable. This is now our go-to Asian cuisine located while we're working in the area.
