I've eaten here twice. The 1st time I had a hamburger and it was great. The 2nd time I had a sausage grinder and it was disgusting. I couldn't eat it.

A week or so ago my family placed a large online order. My wife picked the order up and brought it home. When we got everything separated we realized some items were missing. Both my wife and I tried calling the restaurant several times due to living 20-plus minutes away but could only get a busy signal. My wife ended up going back to the restaurant. The young lady my wife spoke with was very apologetic about the entire situation and extremely kind. Despite having to go back for a couple of things, the young lady's handling of the situation and the food being great more than made up for everything. We will for sure return in the future.

There is a great selection of beers. We enjoyed a salmon burger and a Baja burger. There were some excellent side choices other than fries, though the fries were great! Friendly service staff. Everything was clean. Great vibe! I will go again!

Tasty beverages, great atmosphere, quick service, and great parking. Nice lil joint for a college neighborhood. I’m not real familiar with DSM but the Lucky Horse will definitely be a do again!

The ambiance here screams the perfect burger spot when exploring the Drake area. I ordered the dog town burger, and the pepper bacon jam is such a good pairing w this burger! Not spicy, more like a sweet jam. I got Brussels sprouts as my side and that was also delicious. Kinda wanna come back to try more sometime soon rather than later lol Service was very friendly, I learned that they have great ranch here.

I was crabby and the staff was really nice to us in the face of a weird parking situation. Very nice folks and excellent food always. Get the fried pickles when you’re crabby and need food to help you feel better.
