Yesterday I ordered 2 creme brûlée cupcakes , 1 peach cobbler and the Eclair. All were delicious but the creme brulee won my heart. I just ordered 4 creme brulee cupcakes while typing this. Yumm ???

We contacted Molly’s Cupcakes via their website about 6 weeks prior to a birthday. We asked them if they could make a cake and cupcakes that are nut free. We told them we have a severe peanut, cashew and pistachio allergy that causes anaphylactic shock with two of our children. They confirmed they were able to do that for us. When we went to go order the cake over the phone, the person on the phone told us that they cannot guarantee a nut free cake or cupcakes. After a week or two we decided that we would get a smash cake there for our son and get nut free cupcakes elsewhere for the other two that are allergic. We were to pick up the cake on a Saturday around noon for his party. Since we got into town early, we decided that we’d pick it up the day before, which we were told was okay. That it would be ready. We drive to the bakery and they cannot find our order. They can see that we paid for it a month prior, they can see the online correspondence that we had with them 6 weeks prior. But, somehow the order was lost and there was no cake. If we had not gone in the day before it was to be picked up, we would not have had a cake for his party the following day. We decided to leave the bakery as it was later in the evening and we have 3 small chiidren. We call them when we get back home and the person over the phone continues to ruminate about how the order is lost, offering no solutions. Finally my husband said, can you just have a cake ready for us tomorrow? The person over the phone said they’d have to speak to their manager and call us back. They did so and they did have the cake ready the next morning. But, unfortunately it was not a very good cake. It was so rubbery that my son had a hard time even trying to grab it with his fingers. They did give us two extra cupcakes for our inconvenience. In my opinion, I thought we deserved a free cake. Because again, had we not got in the day before, we wouldn’t of had a cake for his first birthday. Overall, we were not happy nor satisfied with the experience.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. We used them for our wedding cake and minis at our wedding. We had such a great experience with this vendor during wedding planning that we came back to order minis for our baby shower. This is our favorite spot to hit when we’re in the area- the peach cobbler cupcake is my personal favorite. Their customer service is always top tier, the store is immaculately clean, and the cakes are always fresh and beautifully made. I love recommending this to friends and family that are visiting from out of town.
Delicious cupcakes. We used Molly's for our wedding cake and people raved about it. It was the culinary highlight of our wedding (don't use Great Caterers of Iowa).

Charming decor, tasty treats, great customer service. Really, the only downside, like most downtown businesses, parking is difficult. But don't let that stop you from going to get some of the yummy cupcakes and other treats from Molly's. It's worth the hassle! Purchased a way overpriced wedding cake. Paid for design? what a joke. Cake was dry with way too much icing, almost as much icing as cake, no joke. Paid by card over the phone and they guilt you into leaving a tip on an already $450.00 cake. Never again and don't need a response from the owner or management, you had your shot and you missed the mark completely.

One employee introduced me to this place, and most of it their wonderful I would say unique home cupcakes. I went with my brother to the same place first time and purchased them. The cupcakes very delicious. I never knew the when somebody stuffing cupcakes with crème inside, tasting rather not the cupcake but the real cupcake mix with original cake, because any place I go for the cupcake, especially store, those cupcakes seems creamy from outside but dry from inside. Youre cupcakes are very delicious ladies. You make me come and purchase your cupcakes again. Moreover I really like something with fry sugar. First I tasted that stuff in downtown, in one of the restaurants. I saw those cakes with fried sugar and blackberries, I thought “that’s wonderful.” It reminded me of the days when my wife and I visited that restaurant. I definitely, definitely, definitely I will advise people to try your cupcakes. Thank you so much, my family liked it very much.

We cannot wait to come back here and try more flavors of cupcakes and to get another scotcheroo. Such a great bakery!!

Had a great time here!! My youngest was doing a cupcake frosting party for girls scouts tonight at their Molly’s frozen building, so my other daughter and I came over to the cupcake building to kill our time and enjoyed they 2 we ordered so I then added a coffee and 4 more to go!! Board games need updated that would have been fun, but overall it’s a really fun and cute place to relax and catch up!!

We absolutely loved the taste of the cupcakes. We had a chocolate, vanilla, red velvet with buttercream frosting(amazing), all of them are delicious and added rice crispy treat which was great tasting. The overall experience was good.Reminders be careful of where you park. Crow tow almost towed my vehicle. I wasn’t even in the store for 10 minutes, I came out of the door facing the parking lot just in time to stop them. The guy working for crow tow was nice, explained the parking to me, but be careful where you park.I parked in the parking lot right next Molly’s, other then that, Absolutely wonderful cupcakes .
