They weren't too busy when I went in. The cashier is always welcoming. Didn't have to wait long for my order to come out. Ordered chicken flour taco along with flour nachos. Food was great per usual. Always a recommendation for anyone who's never tried!
Tasty Taco is a must stop if you're going through Des Moines. There are several locations around the metro area so one is close by. I recommend the original flour taco, but everything I've tried over the years has been good. Even if the line is long, it won't take long for your order to be ready. While the price of fast food has gone up over time, I was surprised at how inexpensive the menu was.

Probably my favorite location, a bit smaller than some but just as tasty, of course! We tried the taco salad for the first time - it has chili on it! as well as a corn and flour taco and chips and queso. Delicious!! The food here is always fresh, filling and satisfying.
