Wellmans on Ingersoll reminds me of the TV show Cheers.."Where Everybody Knows Your Name"?. Ive seen people come in, grab their menus and seat themselves. The staff there to me arent coworkers, they're truly family! Sometimes I believe they having more fun than the dam customers!?

Decided to try their all you can eat wings on Thursday night.Long ago we use to go to Wellmans every so often but havent been for a long time.Sat out on the patio. Ashley, the server was very nice and prompt and food came out quickly. Tried the MILD Buffalo 1st with blue cheese dressing. Far from mild. Way too much sauce even though the flavor was good. Had no idea what the "blue cheese" was suppose to be. They must make their own. Was more like mayo with blue chesse chunks.Tried the Garlic Parmesian 2nd. A bit too done and again the sauce. Homemade? No flavor at all and too much of it. Switched to Ranch dressing and way too runny. IF they are making their own sauces...they need to adjust or stop doing it.....in my opinion.* Favorite part of the night was watching the "cutesy" young girls come and park, one after another, in the lot and expect to go elsewhere for the night. The "doorperson" very politely told them it was for patrons only. Looks dont always work, does it girls? LOLParking: Get there early with plenty of parking...not so much when it gets busy.

I went here for a Sunday brunch. There was a group of nine of us and the pub & grill appeared to be pretty slow.We were seated and relatively quickly a waitress came by to take drink orders. 10 minutes later we received the drinks and then another 10 minutes and she came by to get our food order.20 minutes goes by and the food comes out we all enjoy it and 15 minutes later the waitress comes by and we request the bills. 15 minutes goes by and she drops them off and another 15 before she comes to pick them back up.I didn't happen to see it but another member of my party (who is a waitress herself) happened to see her multiple times just hanging up at the bar and chatting with people.I am very understanding when it comes to the service industry, but when there is no consideration for a group of customers I find that incredibly frustrating. If time isn't an issue then by all means this could be a decent stop.

I don't eat much here, but I enjoy the games. I did order a taco salad once...tasted like a chopped up burger. Will still go to this establishment.Parking: It's a little crowded, but that's typically the nighttime crowd.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps.

The tenderloin was not as good and tasty as it use to be. I don't think I will be back. The management has changed and the waitress was very nice, and respectful. But I don't know what the problem was. Sorry ?Not the normal.
Great service and pub atmosphere. Love their wing night and pizza. Good happy hour, too.

What an experience. Flys? Oh yes. Baked potatoes? Oh no. Water? Better bring your own. Instead, the wench brought me french fries. Overall--Okay.

More of an older style pub with food, not like the fancy rooftop one in West Des Moines. Good food.

Stopped in for brunch on Mother's Day, there was 10 of us and we had no complaints about the service. There was a couple other groups of 6 or more people and we were well attended to. We all chose from the brunch menu but had the option to select from the full menu. I picked the sliders with egg, cheese and sausage. I expected a sausage patty but it was a larger link cut in half making for a more difficult sandwich to eat but it was good. Not greasy or dry. I requested a spicy Bloody Mary and it was delicious. They also had an all you can drink BM option but I chose just one. I would be interested in visiting for lunch or dinner some time and I recommend others do the same.
