With short notice they got us set up in the back room, Melissa delivered perfect service, all 14 meals came out at once, all the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. “A new and ever changing menu plus old faithful items like the Carmichael make The Dog a great place to grab something to eat, and a drink. You can play pool, darts or catch a game on one of their 16 TV's, great sound system and jute box. The bartenders are friendly and attentive whether you are a regular or somebody new stopping in. If you haven't stopped in to The Dog in the past few months you will be pleasantly surprised at their expansion and rehab.“

“This place is . You have to go here when you come to Dubuque. The only reason they don't get a 5 star review for me is because they are really stingy with the cheese curds. Every time I go I only get 8 curds. If I'm paying $12 for an appetizer I'm going to need a little more food for what I'm spending. Service is always the best. The atmosphere is great too.“
