“I originally had a short and sweet review here and just could not leave that. Here is how I really felt instead. In the area almost exactly a year, have taking in all the restaurants and this is my first review. Portofino’s- Seated immediately, great atmosphere. Free/fresh garlic bread, honestly I could have eaten just that and brought 4 more home! Fresh, hot, still steaming to our table food! Chicken and Shrimp Milanese-with so much to bring home easily one more meal. Kids baked zeti with meatballs, easily 2 portions for a younger kid, maybe another half portion came home for my 7 year old. Cannoli-AMAZING. Finally 2 fountain drinks. All for only $40.02 Everything was excellent! Some of the best food we have had! ”The world’s best cannoli and meatballs” from a 7 year old little girl. Personal observations and highlights for me if you made it this far! (I have many family members in the restaurant business even owning high end restaurants in Denver). Although they were assigned specific tables, I have never been to a restaurant where every server acknowledges every table and adresses a need as they walk by. Servers seating new guest, filling drinks of other tables, clearing other tables, the list goes on and on! All working together, I did not see many tasks being completed alone. I didn’t not get a drink from the bar but I noticed the bar tender did not just fill the order and let it sit for the server. He personally took the drinks to the table if he noticed the server was busy(also I assume there may have been servers under 21 honestly). The service I witnessed tonight really showed a family, locally owned business with great leadership. Clearly employees who are well cared for and love their job. Loved that it was packed but I did not hear the table to either side of me very much. My daughter and I had a conversation and played a game while waiting for food just fine. Enjoyed that there were babies to elderly all seated in the same area around the restaurant. Let’s be honest most places seat all the families together away from couples, ect. This did not appear to be the case here. Big groups to a single person all treated with the same excellent service. Definitely family friendly or a place for a nice date night! We will be back A LOT! Pizza is next! That was the plan for tonight but that quickly changed when we looked at the menu. Looking forward to the many years this family restaurant will be feeding my family and many others! A true dining experience!“
“We can't recommend Leaning Tower of Pizza enough. We asked them to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner and they delivered SO many pizzas hot and fresh and all of our guests loved them all! They typically only deliver for large catering orders like our rehearsal dinner but we asked if there was any chance they would deliver the next day as well so we could have a "pizza cutting" instead of a cake cutting at our wedding reception. They waived their catering minimum since we ordered so many the night before and delivered one small cheese pizza for us to have ready as we entered our reception. AND they gave us a wedding card and a gift! We asked them for a favor to make our wedding special and they went above and beyond.“
“First time. Not the last time. The chicken wings were great. Spicy and crispier than most out there. The onion rings weren’t my favorite but the pizza made up for it. I hade the Worx and it. was. AMAZING!! Very good flavor with a little spice level to it. Not sure if from the sausage, pepperoni or the sauce but it was great. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to try something else.“

“If I ever want Chicago, deep dish, style pizza I go here. The cheese bread and other apps are also delicious while you want for the pizza. For the cost what your getting I would even say it's only mid and not high tier cost as well. All around server could be a tad more attentive and a "want to be there" but that's just a nit picky thing. Overall very good place to go and could of just been a bad night for her to be fair. “Always great food here! Fast service for food too. Was busy for a weekday. Got the spicy cheese curds and a burger. Clean and good atmosphere. Only downside was our bartender. Sat at the bar and he acted like he didn't want to be there. Was annoyed when we weren't ready to order as soon as my friend arrived. Felt like he just avoided us honestly. Another food runner made our 2nd drink happily. Other than that, great place!“

“Never had an issue with this location. Drivers are very rarely late (5 minutes at worst, since our complex is a maze lol) and are always friendly when they get here. On the few take-out orders we do, the employees are friendly and make sure we don't have to wait too long for our order, if at all. Our food have never been messed up yet in three years of ordering from them. Definitely the best out of the locations we've been to.“
“This was my first time here. I ordered a good ole juicy hamburger. It was soooo good! One of my friends bought a pizza with everyone on it that looked and smelled delicious!! He had over half of a pizza to take home. We sat in a booth and had a fabulous waitor who was instantly refilling our drinks, grabbing something we needed before we asked and was hilarious. He kept us laughing the entire time we were there.Parking: They need more handicap parking available.“
“I'd honestly say the fried chicken at pizza ranch is their best item, the pizzas are really tasty and have a great selection when dining in for the buffet option, but that fried chicken is absolutely divine. Every time I'm in Ankeny from the UK I always make sure I get some of that fried chicken. All in all a good atmosphere, plenty for the kids to do while you have your fill of the buffet. The cactus bread is also a must try item ? the selection of buffet items is always nice. With items ranging from mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy to a more traditional salad bar and you're never short of pizza as they refill the buffet trolley every time it gets anywhere near low. Also you have to love a restaurant that has a robot called Buster who wanders around for you to deposit your dishes. Would definitely recommend Pizza Ranch to anyone who hasn't tried them.Parking: Plenty of parking. Never had a single instance of not being able to park.Kid-friendliness: Lots of things to do for the kids here, an arcade centre with plenty of toys that can be won should help keep your little ones entertained while you fill up on all that chicken and pizza ?“

“We were so happy to hear Rosati’s had re-opened after months of waiting, and our usual ‘18” Rosati’s Monster’ Pizza we used to get is still fantastically made correctly!We do take a few toppings off and added extra cheese, double dough (in comments) and hot giardiniera. We ordered at 12:22PM and while it stated a half hour for pick up on the online order, we walked in around 1:13PM and it was just being boxed up, which was no issue. Quality of ingredients were fantastic. We appreciate a pizza more ‘well done’ baked over normal, which this was.Many thanks to the cook in the kitchen today who made this, it was everything we were hoping for today!
