BEST PORK TENDERLOIN I’VE HAD! Went during the Utah St v Iowa game and the service was excellent. Beers were cold, food was excellent. Recommend this as a must try in Iowa City and I will definitely be back!
The Italian beef sandwich was a bit short on beef. Service was fine although another customer gave me some grief when I told the bartender that I wasn't interested in a Bud Light. The bartender quickly shut him down and recommended a good beer from their extensive list. Salad was great and the place was clean and comfortable. Surprised that they didn't have a pastrami sandwich.

I have always been satisfied with the food and service at Quinton's in Iowa City. A recent experience is the exception. My husband and I both ordered the Reuben sandwich. We opted for the turkey instead of corned beef, but what we were served was far from a Reuben sandwich. The sandwich consisted of grilled white bread instead of rye bread, Swiss cheese, the sauerkraut was missing, and it had only a few drops of thousand island dressing.
