My family and I ordered a lot from the menu today and we loved it! The food was probably the most authentic I've had since moving. The egg drop soup was average and the sizzling rice soup didn't have meat, but the tofu dry pot and eggplant was delicious! Highly recommend the bubble tea and chive dumplings. Best AUTHENTIC Chinese food in the city. This isn't the place if you want orange chicken, but real food. Hot oil dumplings are bomb dot com, chive dumplings, the noodle soups, scallion pancake, cumin skewers. All excellent if you understand that it's not a general tso chicken restaurant.

The only thing on the menu that never disappoints me are the crab rangoons. I've ordered from this place multiple times & i get a different dish every time hoping that this one will be better than the last. Their serving sizes are big enough to share but everything I've tried has been pretty bland. Also most of the noodle dishes are just noodles & meat (without a lot of meat) and it's $2 extra to add veggies. Definitely not the best in Iowa City.
