I used to live in Mason city and now live 2.5hours away, but every time I go to Mason city I have to go to taco tico. Great food, great service, always busy, and responsible prices. I have been to lots of restaurants in my life and alot of restaurants have messed up my order, I have been to taco tico in Mason city plenty of times and they have never messed up on my order.

What is it with the TT that makes me go out of may way for a few simple tacos? I don’t know. The jukebox? The clean dinning area? The friendly staff? Probably part of it. TT is similar to Taco Bell and Johns but with a family feel not corporate. I guess when it comes down to it might be as simple as that fresh slice of tomatoe they place on their tacos. All through the years. I want to say like 2003 was she first time I got the Texas burrito. It's the only thing I've ordered since. And all through the years. The building wasn't pretty. But that Texas burrito has me coming back over and over again. Whoever goes to taco bell over this place Taco Tico has to have lost their minds. God Bless the Texas Burrito. ?????
