“A nice stop to grab a bite to eat. Had the fried mushrooms (deep fried to perfection, also not pictured) and a steak quesadilla. Service was nice, fast, and friendly.”
“Amazing place !! - staff was supper friendly and accommodating- the food was just delicious I had a chicken curry sandwich and it was just fantastic- I asked the staff for savory crapes and they came up with a new dish on the spot for me that was not even on the menu and it was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this location. Thank you”
“The owner was extremely nice and gave great recommendations on what to order. He also provided amazing customer service and got our drinks to us quickly. Highly recommend!!!”
“What a hidden gem! We are so happy we stopped by. The extensive, creative and fun menu was amazing! Both beverages I got were delicious. Will definitely be back!”
“The kindness of the staff, the decor and the food was all top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for the entire family. They were especially sweet to our 3 year old.Kid-friendliness: They gave our 3 year old a little snack right when we got there and were generally really kind to him.”
“Great atmosphere, drinks and food. We rented a small event space out, rental process was smooth and very reasonably priced. All staff members were friendly and provided great service!”
“Delicious, real, balanced food. Fully customizable pitas, quinoa bowls, salads, and smoothies. On top of a very clean environment, the staff was friendly and informative. Ordered a gyro style pita with all of the fixings and a berry spinach smoothie.”
“Stopped in while out leaf looking. Bar was very clean. Bartender was very friendly. Food was good and beverages were cold. Great place to enjoy a burger and a beer.Parking: Lots of free parking.”
“Lovely small winery! Owners are absolutely sweet people, welcoming and lots of other customers make me felt welcomed. Really neat to have free wine tasting for 5 different wines for free and you can enjoy glasses of what you liked from the selection. I bought a bottle to go! Also, was able to buy and enjoy a Wisconsin cheese. Very lovely outdoor patio area to enjoy the sun. Thank you for the warm welcome!”
“I scheduled a pick up on Valentine's day for cupcakes. The store was busy, but I waited less than a minute to be greeted by the owner with a smile. Convenient and fast pick up for a great product my kids and wife love.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free cupcake options.”
“Amazing local bar! The Ruben sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. The bartender Steve was such a blast all night as well! Highly recommend this place for a great evening as a super reasonable ”
“Best food spot in Dubuque Iowa hands down… If you don’t mind the wait it’s well worth it. I moved to Wisconsin 2 years ago and i must say Frannie’s is my favorite food spot.”
“We had a GREAT experience here, especially for someone with a severe gluten allergy. Food was delicious (and very safe for me with a dedicated press for gf melts)! Staff was kind and welcoming as well. Would visit weekly if we lived with 30 minutes of this place. Seating is a bit limited but get it to go if there isn’t room to stay!”
“It felt like home and my plate was bussin as hell if you want something that hits every taste bud in you mouth a different type of way I’d eat here!! I’ll be back tomorrow to get some more!Kid-friendliness: The owner is the sweetest lady ever”
“This bar reminds me of one of those bars where it's 5:o'clock somewhere and this is Where!! I stopped in waiting on some friends too come up from Galena thinking Aah I'll just have one little quiet relaxing Sunday drink until they get there. Lol 30 minutes later I was having the time of my life!!! I didn't want to leave.. Lol people were dancing and everyone was super nice from the Bartender to everyone inside!! Plus I don't think I bought one drink haha. everyone was buying Would definitely stop in again. My kind of Place”
“Love their food, drinks and restaurant. They the best quinoa bowls, breakfast burritos. Their salsas are so fresh and actually colorful. Always get their caramel lattes abd for sure one to go. If you love crescents, you must try their almond crescents. If you like chickens , say hi to the chickens they care for and see how their gardens are doing.”
“This little mom and pop shop is good to go, especially if you're looking for some healthy options. So they have this green drink/smoothie, which is really good. Restaurants and bathrooms were clean, too. parking is good, and just a well ran establishment with friendly people that work there. If you are looking for something in the city that's different and not too pricey, this is a good choice.”
“This is a wonderful establishment with delicious drinks and an even better atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and super knowledgeable making for an easy experience of you've never tried kava kava before. Go give them a try!!”
“Everything was amazing. The staff was so kind. We were never left starving either. The winter dip was amazing with the pretzel bread and the crunchy cheese crust of the dip. The Cesar salad was soft and crunchy. The sauce was garlicky but I LOVE GARLIC. I had the steak with potatoes and it’s the best steak I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. They perfectly cooked it to exactly right and it melts in your mouth. And what I liked was that the food wasn’t hot, it was warm. It wasn’t unbearable, I didn’t have to wait to eat it. It was ready the second it came out. The beef stroganoff was the best I’ve ever had. It was creamy and full of flavor. Fiona was amazing. She made us feel very welcomed and appreciated. She always left me laughing with her jokes and we love her penguin she gave us. Definitely made our night. When we come back it would be because of the food and the service!”
“True local feel at this cafe that doubles as a bar. I had a latte and it was made so well, delicious and hot and perfect to start my morning. The barista was kind and I had enjoyable customer service. I'd return.”
“Buz is located conveniently down the street from my work so it is a weekly/daily stop for me and my staff. The baristas and owner always great us with a smile and excellent service. Judging from the convos I’ve over heard while in line, they really take the time to get to know their customers.I’ve had many different drinks and have enjoyed them all.My favorite is a caramel latte with chocolate cold foam. They once showed a picture of this on their instagram and it’s had me hooked and I have ordered it for a year and a half!I also love that they support other locally owned businesses. If you are looking for a great to-go coffee place definitely stop by!”
“Bar/Pub in the middle of a neighborhood, at first we weren't sure we were in the right area. Food was good, atmosphere was better. Kittycorner from an old brewery that is being torn down/renovated that adds to the atmosphere.”
“Great coffee and even better baked goods. The scones and banana bread are fantastic. This place is crowded on the weekends and it’s understandable considering how much better they are than the chains.”
“Stopped in for late night drinks…beers were cheap and the service was good!Lots of darts and a few pool tables.Kid-friendliness: Not as late as in was thereWheelchair accessibility: The front entrance has steps”

“Melissa was our server and daughter to the nice lady who owns this place. And she was fabulous. She also makes all of the pies. Which caught me off guard cause they were so good you would think only a sweet old lady could make something that good. I'm a big fan of Rhodys. Possibly gunna be my next tattoo! ;)”
“I wish I took some media pics but did not, unfortunately. Great spot to stop in and enjoy some nice views, a snack (ordered half an order of Classic Nachos which we split and finished amongst two people!), as well as some brews. Bartenders and cooks were hustling (in a good way!) as the crowd began to flow in on an early Friday afternoon. Wouldn't mind stopping in again if in the area, especially when the marina is docked!”
“This has been a FAV since day 1... but due to Covid I'm guessing menu was extremely limited and tends to be seasonal, the food is AMAZING, but I don't do spice(heat) so didn't go for awhile! Happy to report we are back and the nutritional yeast fried chicken is the BOMB! , Geminelli DELISH! The Hubs got the Rigatoni he said it was LIKE HOME ( NY ).. so next time in Dubuque, make resv. Give Brazen a try , Chef Kevin lives up to his great reputation !”
“Called ahead and they got my tacos ready in 15-20 minutes. 4 tacos, just cilantro, and I bought a soda and some candy - cost me $19 and they were PACKED with meat. It was wonderful. Great Mexican food.”
“We love Breitbach's. Family owned and family run. If Mike is in the building, he always comes to say hi. The staff are outstanding, friendly people. Truly "family" dining at its finest. Oh, and the food is always exceptional. That's a given.”
