“The asada tacos and fajitas are unreal. You can taste the love. They take their time with the meat and it has better flavor and consistency (less fat and gristle) than any other place in town.New king in Sioux City? - after my experience ... yes!“
“Absolutely amazing! Food tastes fresh and not greasy like other places. Staff are really nice, but they do need more staff. Amazing people with amazing food. Highly recommend and will be coming back. The seats do have holes in them but that didn't take away from how nice it was to be there.Vegetarian options: I hate the veggie omelet and it was awesome.“
“Great place to eat! Food is great, can't get more authentic. He's a true business owner that is there everyday they are open and cooking running the register, interacting with customers and most of all is respectful and appreciated your business and don't make anyone feel out of place or looked down on like the rivals across the street do. Jose deserves more recognition then la' Juanita's dose hands down.“
“I love Monterrey. Very affordable. I love how they have two locations on two sides of Sioux City, it’s very easy to access. I get the Beef Classic fajitas. Never can go wrong with their cheese dip! Tastes perfect with their chips and I even put some over my fajitas too! Very fast as well!“
“Originally went to this restaurant when they first opened about 15 years ago... I Moved away for 13 years... I Just moved back... decided to try out the restaurant again...the decor has gotten much better but the food is just as good as it always was.I highly recommend anyone wanting excellent Mexican food to go here.“
“I don't give out many 5 star reviews, I think this is the 2nd one I've ever done.My go to is the Jumbo Steak burrito Wet, I don't think it is possible to get fresher beans and rice and the Birria Ramen is always a hit.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair accessible parking spaces.“

“Super delicious Mexican food. It's not my top spot, but it's been closed, and in Watsonville. Glad I found this spot. Didn't take many pictures but did get one of the soup they started with. Nice touch. I had the chile relleno. Sauce is everything for me. This was very good. The beans tasted very fresh. The rice was good. Salsa etc. Highly recommend“
“Not the best Mexican I have had but it is pretty good. Its one of my go to sit down Mexican restaurants in Sioux City. I especially love the Chili Relleno. It is usually busy and a bit loud but its enjoyable. Also free chips and salsa are always a great thing.“
“Holy! Taco about tacos!I never had nachos that held together so well through the whole meal. Usually they are soggy and fall apart else where. The tacos are packed and same as nachos. They don’t fall apart. More kept together than my mental health. JkLook if you want good food with option for a beer or two this place is the place to be. It gets busy but it’s worth the visit. 9.3/10You’re welcome“
“Amazing place to eat I got hungry and decide to eat here the food is honestly amazing and I would want more everyday. And the service there was amazing everyone was nice and sweet and had manners and the atmosphere was peaceful. Would highly recommend this !“

“We moved from Sioux City to Omaha, so we swing by this location when we are in the area. We went through drive-through. Food was a little slow coming out, but worth the wait. They had us pull ahead for our order. Gal brought out bag and said thanks. Wife looked through package and noted we were short 1 hamburger. I was about to pull around to go inside, when the gal came back out with the missing hamburger in hand. IMHO she should have told us we were short a burger after the first delivery“
“This location had good overall Mexican food. The most memorable thing, though, is the free chips and salsa they provide before your food comes. The salsa is the hottest salsa I have ever eaten, I love spicy so I liked it, but beware! Take a tiny bite and sweat will be beading on your face. The food when it came was good, just a standard burrito and some flautas, basically the same quality and taste as you would expect from the average Mexican restaurant. I really want to take some friends back who like spicy food, just to try the salsa! Would go again!“
“Good food. Had line of people waiting. Has seats to dine in, but most were taking out. Talked with friendly customers who had eaten there for years, and said it was the most authentic Mexican restaurant I'm Sioux City. We are in. The ambience was more on the festive side, but not suited for quiet conversation. My wife is vegetarian, and liked it. Spicy carrots were a pleasant surprise.“
