Went there Saturday night for dinner for the first time. Beautiful place. Music is eclectic and relaxing, a bit loud. Seated immediately by the hostess. Groups in front and behind us turned away as were only seating reservations. The hostess also turned out to be our bartender and waitress. There was only one person running the entire front of house. Six guys, huge steaks, excellent appetizers,great drinks, we were there for 4 1/2 hours eating drinking telling lies and other stories.I'm glad the company picked up the tab. The tip alone was probably what my wife and I spend on groceries for a week.We sat in the bar area for appetizers and they quickly pulled a couple tables together for us, brought drink and appetizers quickly; they took care of us so well it was like my grandmother making sure the parish priest was comfortable...read full review

Most restaurants are short staffed these days. Irina's is not an exception, but the service they provided to my family tonight was the best I've ever been apart of. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing staff. This continues to be my favorite restaurant in the Des Moines area!
