Would have been 5 stars but for two days in a row as soon as this woman answered the phone she'd put me on hold and never come back. Finally some Spanish man answered and took my order. This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have found in Desmoines!!!! The food is delicious ?. Was served out appetizer within a few minutes of ordering and we no more then get finished and our salads arrived. Everything was served within perfect timing!!!!!!! The portions were good for the price. Overall I say it's outstanding and we will be returning!!!!!!

I enjoyed this place with it's old Italian pizzeria theme. The only knock I have on it is it's a little expensive compared to some other pizza joints. We were feeding 6 people & got a 16" plain pepperoni, a 12" T-Rex, & a 12" Sam & Louie's Best along with bread sticks & cheese bread. All the food was very good & the server was friendly. They also have a good selection of beer even served Ruthie which is a local favorite.
