If you're into fried flour tacos, they are as advertised, a very "tasty taco." My go to is the cheese enchilada. It's not a "traditional" enchilada by any sense of the term, as it doesn't come with any bells and whistles. Just a tortilla jammed with cheese, both in and out. I dump my 3 oz cup of salsa on it. Took my adult son for his first experience at Tasty's. A right of passage for descendants of Des Moines natives.Unsure of his choice, but trusting my advice, he ordered The Original Flour AND a steak taco. He was quick to admit they are delicious and that WHEN he comes next time he'll be ordering "the Original" instead.
