“This is exactly what we were looking for! We’re in town for the National Wrestling tournament all the way from Utah and we wanted GOOD FOOD! We didn’t want fast food but are obviously unfamiliar with the area. So glad we stopped! We got fried catfish, pork chops, and shrimp boil and it was AMAZING! The fish and fried okra were fresh! The owner was so nice and good conversation! Thanks for having us! ❤️❤️“
“Fun time with our 11 YO grandson. Grill show was good but lacking tricks that we'd seen there before. Swordfish slabs were very thin and overcooked. They were cooked as long as other meats (steak, salmon, and chicken), which caused them to be dry. Cook was very good on checking for food allergies.“
“My friend and I each ordered the Ultimate Feast: 4 different seafood options from a list along with two side dishes. I had grilled scallops, Maine lobster tail, Parrot Coconut Shrimp, and Garlic Shrimp Scampi. Plus their delicious cheddar biscuits. Dragon shrimp appetizer. It was all delicious and well-cooked. Our waitress was attentive, helpful, and very pleasant.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and wheel chair accessible.“
“Johny, aka the best bartender west of the indies, aka johny fast hands, bartends here too?!? I hate martini’s but this guy still had me enjoying my evening. Speaking in good faith, I cannot, however, recommend the wolf bite to the faint of heart. Place is a vibe tho “
“Super friendly staff who really made sure we were taken care of. The food was really interesting, the burritos are huge and filled with tons of goodness, while the chimichanga was pretty much a rolled quesadilla with steak. Still, it had great flavor and the steak was done perfectly. The salsa is watery and has a lot of onion flavor, so I wasn't a big fan, but the chips were fresh and crisp. Definitely be a place we'll go back to.“
“The New York strip was devine! No one in their right mind should ask for steak sauce here because the meat is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Best steak I’ve ever eaten! The crème brûlée was done beautifully and the crisp crunch and creamy custard you’d come to expect. First time here and VERY impressed.“
“Friday night during Lent we were looking for a fish fry like we often go to back home. Came here on the basis of other reviews. When we arrived it really looked like a pretty "nothing" place amid old buildings awaiting demolition and the inside kind of fit with the outside and we wondered if we'd made a mistake ...but it was packed with apparent locals/regulars. The waitress was nice/funny and the food was exactly what we had in mind (and good examples thereof) with a few unfamiliar local touches and seldom encountered items*. Very good overall. Luckily we had arrived early as a long waiting line started to develop about 5:30 after we had already been served. Would eat here again.*e.g. pea salad, fried clam strips“
