We were in Des Moines for a couple of days and given that it’s only 3hrs from KC, lol, we decided to go for some BBQ food. The vibe is legit and they got some decent beer on tap. We ordered 2 plates of 2 meat dinner along with some honey sriracha dry rub wings. The 2 dinners gave us 4 meats and 8 sides. Everything was absolutely top notch. Going from Dubuque, Iowa to Kansas City and swooped in for some BBQ.I know KC is supposed to be one of the BBQ kings, but I literally stopped and hung out at a coffee shop until I thought they opened at 11.
