Our experience was excellent. Our server Avery was very friendly and personable. New York steak, beef Wellington, Lam chops and rib eye was delicious! Definitely recommend this place.

To say that it was a wonderful dining experience just doesn't cut it. It was unlike any other dining experience my husband and I have had! They had everything queued up very well. When we finished with one thing, they were there to clear our plates and bring another. And it wasn't like a "Ooh, they finished this! Go! go! go!" But we had a few minutes between plates to let the food settle before the next thing came out. The gentleman playing the piano was really good. The atmosphere was awesome. The food was phenomenal! Even my husband enjoyed it, and he is pretty critical of restaurant food. The food is expensive, but worth it for sure. Perfect place for a romantic date night!

My husband and I both agree...this is the best meal we have had in a looooong time...and we travel quite a bit and eat at nice establishments. First and foremost, every member of the staff we encountered was delightful. Truly, this is a rare and priceless group of people; helpful, friendly, professional, and engaging. Jonathon, Kristin, and Megan made our evening so enjoyable. I don't ever write reviews, but I has to sing their praises from the mountaintops! Our food was perfect. I had the duck with potato cakes (delicious) and my husband had the filet mignon with the potatoes au gratin (to die for). Please, do yourself a favor and order the au gratin. You will not regret it. Both of our meals were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Portions are generous. Presentation was lovely. We finished our meal with the Creme Brule that was rich and delicious. If I could give this establishment infinite stars, I would. Brilliant. Thank you to everyone in this restaurant who clearly works hard and cares deeply about the service they provide. You made our trip and we will be back next time we are in Boise.

Reservations still long wait frustrating do not do reservations if you cannot honor them to top it off was seated ordered the Beef Wellington was told sold out 15 minutes ago well hell if you sat me on time that would not have been an issue why would a steak house run out of food as expensive as it is not ran properly disappointing to say the least been here an hour and 15 minutes and do not even have salads still do not waste your money

We had our wedding reception dinner here last weekend and it was amazing! The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. Everyone had a great time and we were all so happy with how everything went. Thank you for hosting our dinner guests and for making our wedding reception something that we will always remember!

Food and service last night was incredible! Great atmosphere, including the piano bar. It’s a bit of a drive from our house but well worth the trip.


Wonderful experience. Food was amazing as was the service. Our server Avery was friendly and attentive. Nice little touches like a pallet cleanser lemon sorbet and a complimentary breakfast muffin. We had beef Wellington and brickyard chicken bot were wonderful. Live piano music made it a romantic evening. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are always looking for a great new steakhouse and came upon the reviews fro Brickyard. Overall it was a good meal at a fair price. I ordered the petite filet with potato bacon soup and substituted the creamed spinach instead of one of their potatoes dishes. The steak had good flavor and was tender, but was slightly more on the medium side than medium rare. Still, it was good. The bacon potato soup had really good flavor but was much thicker than I expected a soup to be - almost more of a creamy whipped potato side dish. The creamed spinach I was not impressed with. Instead of a heavy cream, semi-cheesy flavor, I'd describe it more as spinach sautéed in whole milk. It allowed the spinach to be a bit bitter tasting without much flavor to offset it. My husband ordered the ribeye. His was also slightly more medium than medium rare but the flavor was good. With his steak, he ordered the potatoes au gratin. The first bite was good but it was a little blasé from there on out. For desert, I got the creme brûlée. The flavor was phenomenal. My only complaint was that the sugar was so thick that the underlying custard was a bit warm (I'm assuming because it took a bit longer for it to caramelize. It was great tasting, but a colder custard under the crust would have been a nice contrast. The berries on top had good flavor. Service in general was good and personable. They let us know there was a large party in the back room which was delaying the kitchen which was snot an issue since we weren't in a hurry. My only suggestion would be for the easier items like wine, bread, water, etc. to come out a bit faster.

Delicious fancy restaurant that you will not be disappointed by. The prices were surprising affordable for an upscale place. The French Onion soup is the best I've ever had! Wait staff was amazing. Just make your reservations a week in advance if you want Friday or Saturday nights

Lovely place, good food, nice people. However, they were really busy and we had to wait a lot. 2hrs between our reservation time and when our entrées came out. The beef wellington was overcooked. The sides were beautifully plated but under seasoned (or not seasoned at all!). We had a good time, but I was disappointed overall.

Hands down, my favorite restaurant to eat at in Idaho. Excellent food quality, excellent service and the ambiance is wonderful. I have held a few company dinner parties here as well as personal and we have always had the same excellent service every time. Way to go Brickyard at setting the bar high! I can't wait to come back!


The best meal I've ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was a truly fantastic experience. I got the halibut and it was moist, flaky, and seasoned well. My family got the chateaubriand and the meat was cooked perfectly. The surprise of the lemon sorbet as a pallet cleanser was a good little surprise.
