Ordered the JP grilled cheese with jalapeños, but received a basic grilled cheese I could have made at home. When asking staff regarding this, they said they were out of jalapeños but would remake it for me. I am unsure how remaking this sandwich would solve the problem of being out of ingredients? After asking how this would help and if there were other options, she repeated they would make it for me and I could go sit down. Very disappointed as I used to love this place!

Very nice little restaurant right next to Freak Alley. The food was great. Can't wait to get a breakfast burrito! So good..Kid-friendliness: Yummy Macaroni and cheese!

Super disappointed. The food is good but I didn't get any of the pickle spears and my soup was barely over half full. I left a generous tip and its hard when you're order is far from correct.

Best chicken pesto sandwich ever! The jalapeno dip and tater tots are a must try

Place is amazing and go there almost everyday. One thing is that when I do my call in orders, I sometimes just get hung up on and I'll call again they will answer and then hang up again. I understand that it is probably busy, I wouldn't doubt it, but I wish there was better communication on their end. Besides that, food is amazing

I have had both the Reuben and the beef dipped sandwich. Both are quite good. I would ask to have no relish on the dip sandwich next time, a custom touch that wasn't necessary. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup as a side. It was spicy, which I liked.Kid-friendliness: There is a children's menu.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread is an option.

Ordered the pot roast dip... not sure where the pot roast is. Good flavor and timely service but the amount of food should be addressed.

I was so disappointed in my vist on Sunday with my sons. They were specifically looking for breakfast burritos. Even though the menu says "serving breakfast all day" the employee unenthusiastically tells us they stop serving burritos after 10:30. But we could order the breakfast sandwich (strange...you can't wrap up those same fixin's in a tortilla?). But okay. Two of us ordered sandwiches with bacon, no syrup. One ordered sausage. Well over 20 minutes later the server brings the food and doesn't mention they've run out of bacon. We open our sandwiches...no bacon AND syrup. Might they have told us they ran out of bacon (at 10:45 am) and would we want sausage or ham? Nope. Just dropped the plates and left. Tots cold. Egg disk rubbery. Not sure it was really egg. Sandwich totally lackluster and staff that clearly don't care. Would have much preferred spending my money elsewhere. Won't be back.

This is my go to sandwich place in Boise. I really like the Sprang Chicken and Do Gouda. The Sprang Chicken is really light and filling and the Do Gouda is really savory and mildly sweet. I always order online and have never had to wait for my order. The inside is very open and has cool art all around

Their breakfast burrito is probably my favorite food in Boise. On the app it seems like 10% of reviews mention this amazing product. Unfortunately, they open at 9am (so grabbing one before work is impossible) and, in the last two weeks, they STOPPED SERVING THEM AT 1030. You have a 90 minute window to get one. I don't understand why this business stops me from paying them cash at 8am or 11am. Good luck, owner. Please take my money, even if you have to charge more. Can you not just charge extra for an off hour breakfast burrito?

Support this place. I've only been a few times in 2 years, however; their sandwiches and food are top notch! Amazing brunch/lunch spot. Great value, nice bohemian vibe, outdoor space for dogs, and beer! I am not a sandwich guy and this place rocks! Turkey bacon and BBQ are both solid choices! I say support this place as the last time I went the soda machine was pretty much out of commission and the space seemed a little... downsized? I am worried (like mainly places) they could be struggling and cutting expenses. It would be a shame if Stevens closed.... BUY THEIR SANDWICHES! Boise is better with them in it!!

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. They've been having some issues over the last bit, though. Oven has been down, can't get iced tea on site (with actual ice), multiple failed attempts with Uber Eats, etc. Get better, Even Stevens. Your food is amazing and your staff are always nice. I believe in you!

I admire their mission to provide food for the hungry! We come a couple times a month because it is so easy to bring your kids. It is a fun atmosphere, not pretentious at all. The food is great and reasonably priced. The sprang chicken sandwich is my favorite. My husband prefers to get the pot roast dip every single time! Don't sleep on the tots either!

Good Gouda sandwich but overpriced for the small serving size. Called in order because I was in a rush and it took 45 mins to get my sandwich once I got there. Lots of confusion from the staff and poor service.

This is a sorry excuse for a Rueben from a sandwich shop. I will say, the flavor is there, it would have been delicious had there been any meat on there. One half had a big chunk of fat, and a tiny slice of a tough edge, basically beef jerky. The other half of the sandwich had one small slice of the beef jerky. We ordered two Rueben’s and the other was the same, with only fat and a tiny beef jerky piece of meat. Very disappointing and such a waste of money when you do a pickup order and then you’re stuck with a sauerkraut and cheese sandwich.
