It's been awhile since I've been downtown to Moons. I wanted to try the new place and I like it. Clean and bright. I think they have the best biscuits and gravy around town.

We entered Moon's Kitchen Cafe ?. The atmosphere was amazing as I enjoyed the decorations around the cafe. The wait time was extremely backed up to about an hour to an hour and a half wait. Our sever was okay. She did communicate about the kitchen being backed up. I just didn't enjoy that my order was still placed wrong after all the wait, and she sure enjoyed swearing a lot. I did appreciate the complimentary orange juice ? and they topped off our coffee's as we'll ☕️. Next time I go in, I would rather get an omelet rather than their Monte Cristo (too dry and wasn't found of the fried corn flakes).Willing to try anything twice ?

Looking for a breakfast place, look no further. This is the place. I like to be comfortable when I have breakfast, somewhere I don't have to move my chair because the place is too small. Where the food is warm, fast and absolutely tasty. Came in and ordered the best beignets--so great I could do that and coffee and be satisfied. I ordered my go to, chicken fried steak, eggs, hash brown meal. OMG! Ok, there are hash browns, and then there are the ones that you imagine--the perfect ones, soft inside and crunchy outside!! Yum yum yum. Service great--and the music is perfect. Go, you will not be disappointed. Will come back and try the lunch. Large portion sizes, coffee bar and comfortable seating.

20 minutes walk from my hotel, in town for business. Becca was our waitress, college student, with a great attitude. I had the chorizo omelette, but we started with fresh homemade Beignets. Awesome! Really nice atmosphere, good food at a reasonable price. Will definitely come back.

Best breakfast restaurant and service downtown Boise. New location 8th & Main is nice!!!
The new location is very nice and open! It doesn't feel like the old Moons....but it's very nice!Service was great and the food is still amazing!!!! The biscuits and gravy are delicious! The Irish Beni was so good, I had them switch the English muffin for a biscuit...best move ever.So glad you didn't close when you had to move Moons!

Great food and service. I would recommend this excellent restaurant. Ordered the country scramble just delicious . My wife had the club sandwich croissant also good. My daughter had a half order of biscuits and gravy that she couldn't finish.

So, because moons was forced out of its location for safety reasons on that block, we thought we would track them down and go support them. Turns out their new location is a permanent one, and it is gorgeous. The food was still excellent the service outstanding and the atmosphere, wonderful. Don't hesitate to go see for yourself. And if Justyce is your server, she can make you the best cinnamon honey latte you've ever had in your life.

Our go to breakfast in Boise. We've been 3 times at the new location. Absolutely superb food and service. The eggs are cooked exactly right. The ham steak was excellent. The coffee is nice and strong. Clarity waited on us and we were impressed with her attention to our every need. She was a lovely young lady with a genuine interest in vintage clothing!Parking: We usually park several blocks away beyond the metered spots. We enjoy the walk. Downtown Boise is fairly easy to park whether you park out or use the metered spaces.
