This place has the best of the best sushi. I have told a bunch of others about it, and they likewise love it. I am so happy to have a place like this in our community. Can't say enough about how much I love this place. Well done

They sat my daughter and I who is a child down in a booth and as we are comfortable and looking at the menu they rudely tell us to get out of our seat so someone else can sit there . They were not nice at all and didn’t even apologize and treated us like scum . The manager did this by the way . Wouldn’t even let me talk to the owner just treated us like garbage . If the owner reads this , find new management because yours is terrible

I have been to most sushi places in the Ada County area and Shogun is by far my favorite! Their food is delicious, fresh, and very reasonably priced. The servers are very attentive and friendly, without being annoying. The dine-in experience is wonderful, but they are also very good with packaging their to-go orders.I usually get a couple of their rolls, but have also really enjoyed the other scattered things I have tried on their menu. I am never disappointed!

Best sushi ive had! My favorite place to go eat with my adult sons!
This place really impressed me! It looks like a little hole in the wall, but the service was immaculate. The sushi chef was very accommodating to my allergy needs, and the roll he made was DELICIOUS. Service was excellent, food was just as so. Prices are decent, but not cheap. Will be coming back soon!!

Show up hungry, since the dinner sets are alot of food. They are a great bang for your buck. They have your usual classic rolls you find at any sushi place, plus some really good unique ones. It might sound odd, but their baked lobster roll was a very pleasant and amazing surprise. Warm sushi rolls aren't my girlfriend's favorite, but even she loved it. They have a nice sake menu too, if that's your thing. Service was great and timely, and I liked the atmosphere and music. Really great date night place.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a bit tight inside between the tables for wheelchairs, but I think they could probably make it work, especially if not too busy or you call ahead.

The food is delicious, the venue is pleasant, and the staff is wonderful! They were willing to work with my food allergies and a waitress got my purse back to me when I almost left it behind. I can't recommend them enough!
