The food and beers are amazing! Unlike other breweries with multiple IPA's and little other options... these guys have a great vaiety and differnt beer styes to please multiple palets. I like amber ales, stouts, douple-bocks and smooth drinking beers. Sockeye did not disapoint. I had a creamery, and a sheramanator doupple-bock beer. Both were excellent. I also ordered the beef stroganoff with wild mushrooms. It was FANTASTIC!!! SO GOOD that i placed a second order to take home. My Neice enjoyed an IPA wth some tacos. We both enjoyed our meals and the service very much. Shout out to Robin our sweet and sassy waitress and Chaz who were both amazing. Thanks for a grat mea and a nice relaxinng time.

I'll give the beer here a five-star rating. I discovered this place because a University of Idaho alumni event was being hosted here. The lager and amber beers at this place are terrific. So good is the beer I went back to Sockeye the next day and about a six-pack case of the lager and a six-pack case of the amber.

Three of us dined at the Sockeye on Sunday night. We ordered salmon and requested it be cooked medium (experience has taught us that Salmon is often overcooked and dry). She assured us our orders emphasized medium. Our meals came quickly. The salmon was cold, overcooked and dry. The waitstaff came by and asked how our meal was. I responded that it is overcooked. She obviously did not pay attention, smiled and said “perfect. We ordered Caesar dressing from another restaurant staff to make it palatable. It is clear the salmon was pre-prepared.

Great place to eat for a casual dinner or if you prefer, a nice dinner! The pub menu is casual wsome fantastic options. The dinner menu has some great main dishes that just reading about makes your mouth water. Keep in mind that the prices reflect the nicer menu. The atmosphere is very much a pub and they have a brew to match all menu items.
