“Wasabi has been one of our favorite Japanese restaurants Their quality is consistent, waitstaff friendly and efficient. I like their sushi and my partner, who prefers cooked food, really enjoys their teriyaki plates. HOWEVER, tonight for the first time, we did takeout ( not delivery - we drove there to pick it up) and were very disappointed to find they added a 10% tip to all takeout orders. Just 2 dinners, nothing special, that we waited 30 minutes for after a 1 minute phone call to place the order. I prefer to decide my own tip, especially for take out. We will not be ordering take out from them ever again“

“We ordered the burger, the grilled cheese and a sushi roll to share. Food came out super fast and was fresh. The burger was perfectly cooked on a soft Hawaiian style bun topped with a pickled cucumber salad, but neither one of us liked the hoison sauce and it over powered the whole burger. The sushi was just ok, similar to higher quality grocery store sushi. The winner for the night was the grilled cheese with candied bacon and shishito peppers. It came on thick Texas toast and was served with thin crispy garlic Parmesan fries. Delicious greasy crunchy slightly sweet. I would def go back for that.“

“I wanted to try everything on the menu! Alas, I could not, but everything I did try was delicious, including the spicy tuna maki, Japanese tacos, crab cake tacos and the Optimus Prime rib philly. I've had the portobello sandwich at a work function and it is truly difficult to nail a portobello sandwhich when dining out. It's honestly the whole reason I went to the location in the first place. They had live music (Michaela Stutz French) that didn't interfere with my dinner, but gave a 11/10 ambience. “Most of us had the chicken and filet mignon (cooked to order). If you want, you can even try to catch a shrimp in your mouth when the chef flips it up towards your mouth. “To start off with, the atmosphere is very pleasant. A have a few light sensitive family members and they commented on how nice and warm the lighting was. The staff was friendly and prompt. The walnut shrimp and the orange chicken are a must there. Best we've ever had. Just the texture alone was impressive. Perfectly crispy even in the delicious sauce. They made sure we had fresh hot rice with those two dishes. A small annoyance I have is when you get a pot of tea at a restaurant and so many times the tea goes from too hot to drink while waiting for it to brew and then it's barely luke warm by the time it's strong enough to drink. This tea was hot from beginning to end. We were all very happy with the rolls as well. The amount of options is almost overwhelming. Everything we got was so good. I felt like there was more variety than some other sushi places I've been to. Even the sauces on the sushi were above many of the places we've been to. Overall a fantastic experience and we will absolutely be back.“
