Hadn't visited this place in a while. Fairly good ambience and good food. Seating was quick, the order was quick to place but the food delivery was glacially slow. The waiter did mention that things are prepared from scratch so it will be slow.Lassi was in big bottles, so you get around 1.5 glass. Food had a good flavor.only complain would be that there were belly dancers and their music was very loud. It was good entertainment but essentially couldn't hear anything else.Vegetarian options: lots of veg optionsDietary restrictions: they tailored their food based on needsParking: Downtown Boise is hard to find parking. there is an attached parking lot but was close to fullKid-friendliness: some options for kids

Far too expensive, food is nothing spectacular. Service did not come unless I hailed the waiter, and checkout was annoying and took to long. I order Chicken Makhani Curry. This single dish was $30. I expect curries to be priced down so that you can order three or four for the table and split them. This is insanely overpriced for the size and quality of the food. This store also violates their Visa/Mastercard card member agreement by charging a $1.50 fee for paying by credit.

I’ve only had Indian food one other time in my life, and this place was very good! Super flavorful and the naan was amazing! I got the goat vindaloo medium heat and it wasn’t too hot but enough spice it was delicious. I went there with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day, the atmosphere was cozy, and everyone was very kind. Hamza was our waiter, he was super informative and even told us how the restaurant came to be! Family restaurants are the best. His mom and dad hand make a ton of the food like the naan and even the homade yogurt. Overall 10/10 we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Taj Mahal!
