While driving from Spokane to Montana we wanted to find a nice hometown place to get a hearty breakfast and Michael D’s didn’t disappoint. Our server Diana was very accommodating and answered all of our questions about the menu. I absolutely love it here. The staff are so friendly. The food is excellent. You can ask for crispy bacon and you will get it! I love their biscuits and gravy, the quality is better than most places in the area. The potatoes are seriously the best breakfast side in the whole Northwest.

This place is fan-freakin-tastic! The food is delicious and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I even had a regular customer (we were traveling) offer me the first bite of his pancake (I forget what kind, but it's great for borderline diabetics / diabetics). It may be paleo, but don't quote me. We will definitely patronize this local establishment when we're in Coeur d'Alene.
